These were hard to find... there's a camp of them at 51, 87.

Also lots of them inside Manaforge Coruu.

These are primarily found on the east side of Coruu. They are miners working on the rock outcroppings.

They drop a BoP enchant - +30 Int to Weapon

As a fire mage, I could not AOE them affectively. The largest group I could AOE was a group of 3, but I died both times when i got groups of 5+.

These are great for farming Sunfury Signets. I can kill these fast as a 70 frost mage, and a ring drops every 4-6 kills. Sometimes I get 2 in a row, sometimes 3, but the droprate isn't all that bad.

They have one ability, Puncture Armor, reduces armor by 1056. Last 30 sec. Can only be applied once pr. mob it seems, but the debuff from several mobs stack.

the reason for the low drop rate is becuase its a BoP pattern so it does not show for non enchanters, so if the person has wowhead looter installed and it drops they cant even see it.

As a destruction warlock, these guys are very easy to farm.

I made a macro for easy killing

/castsequence reset=15 Shadow Bolt, Immolate, Corruption, Searing Pain, Shadow Bolt, Conflagrate

I got around 600 spellpower and they almost always drops from this, or after 1 tick of corruption.

I use imp as dps.

Just got the pattern after 30 mins of farming. The 51,87 is very good coords. They respawn like after a minute. Excellent spot for farming. Only problem I ran into was a mage farming for the same formula. He decided to aggro bunch of mobs, run by me, and went invisible. Then all the mobs came after me.

I survived and got the pattern a few mins later while he's still there AoE grinding.

The spot maracle posted is awesome (51, 87).
You can cast spells through the rocks you see, 'no out of line of sight'. So just stand close the the camp and tab all you want, and start casting. I got the +30 int enchant recipe after around 20 kills. Got 1 tome and 2 stacks of netherweave.

we should be able to work out the drop rate based on the drop rate (0.4% of kills) listed here, multiplied by the total kills over the number of looters who are actually enchanters.
could probably do this by doing a ballpark calculation of all level 70s and estimating how many enchanters there are.

Of course, it's a given that many more of the kills listed here will be by enchanters farming the recipe, but still it'd be kinda accurate.

I'm guessing about 10% population are enchanters, but guessing that about 30% of the kills here are for farming purposes. which means 0.4/30*100 gives 1.3%? plus minus 1 percent? 1-2 percent drop. lol i'm guessing at every single figure here. of course it's really inaccurate but it gives you a good idea of the order of probability (100 kills as opposed to 1000 kills). i think you could probably apply this idea to all profession drops.

I'd farmed 51 netherweave cloth, 1 tome and 13 sunfury signets before the recipe dropped for me. Probably took 40 minutes in total at the camp during the night hours, nobody else there and an infinite supply of researchers.

These guys are how i farmed my epic flyer.

Put on some good music and grind, grind, grind.

The mobs are stationary, and the scenery can be cast through. fast respawn, and are very weak. There is an occasional patrolling mage, but she shouldn't cause too much problems.

Drops plenty of:

Cash
Cloth
Tomes + Signets
Greens
Occasional Blues

Ground my 5k gold in under a week disenchanting greens,and selling the occasional blues and rep items, also by tailoring found cloth into bags, and large prismatics with the recipe:

Speaking to a friendly tailor to make bags with the cloth can be more profitable than selling the cloth (dependant on your realm - check AH!)

One ther thing aswell... just noticed today, twhen i had both my accounts runnin and both of my toons grinding away, my Enchater could only see the recipe, my other did not... so if your not an enchanter... unlucky! even though there shouldnt be no real reason to grind it out, as its BoP... but you never know

i hate them, farmed about 3h..
got 18 stacks of cloth, 6 tomes and 110 sunfury signets.. about 20 green stuff, but no **** formula..
i farmed at the rocks about 51,86, is it really this mobs?

These guys seem to be carefully arranged by Blizzard to bug out if you kite them too far. They aren't so easily farmed, since they evade easily.

These Elves are located all around Manaforge Coruu, and Sunfury Hold. Fairly squishy, with the occasional Sunfury Arch Mage patrolling among them. Most of the commentary concerns (Formula: Enchant Weapon - Major Intellect), which is what most people posting here were after, but bear in mind they also drop Sunfury Signets and Arcane Tomes for Reputation gains. Farming them resulted in several rings and the pattern after the 6th kill.
