Always expected them to be connected to the Lunarlight Pod treasure in Glitterfall Basin and the Large Lunarlight Pod (activated by the Night Fae Anima Conductor), but had no clue how. In Build 9.0.1.35598 they've all got an aura Lunar Light added and with its tooltip "Lights up when it detects someone nearby. Lighting all buds allows a pod to become visible." the whole thing was demystified ;-)

Lunarlight Pods

These are unlocked by channeling anima to various locations around Ardenweald - this is only available if you have selected Night Fae as your covenant.

So far I have only unlocked the two so far, but I have seen other ones around Ardenweald. To make the pod solid so it is lootable you need to walk into the Lunarlight Buds in the area around the pod. It looks like there is a pool of possible spawn points and you need to find 5 active spawns to open the pod.

Related to the Large Lunarlight Pod or Lunarlight Pod and Lunarlight Pod treasures with similar mechanics in Ardenweald Glitterfall Basin.

Objective is to run over several Lunarlight Bud to be able to loot the treasures.
Lunarlight Buds will change the color from blue to purple when you run over them.
Most of the Lunarlight Bud are in the area nearby

From my experience the location of Lunarlight Buds can be random each respawn, but i'll provide way coordinates just in case.
The best strategy is to use /tar Lunarlight Bud macro

To activate the Large Lunarlight Pod you need to

Be part of the Night Fae covenant and
Channel the Anima Conductor to the Glitterfall Basin

Lunarlight Pod and Lunarlight Pod treasures have similar mechanics, but don't require to channel anything.

As other comment said, you have to find Lunarlight Buds and just walk over them to "light" it up.

They spawn in set, but random locations. So keep an eye out, when you moseover them the tooltip show up.

as someone who doesn't usually run coordinates addon, i found it fairly easy to create a target macro (/target Lunarlight), assign it to a key and spam it

when ever you find a bud assign a symbol to it

I have found 5 buds in an ellipse around /way 56 39 bot no pod to unlock. Anyone knows what's up?

If you powered up Glitterfall Basin and can't find the fifth flower, check the cooking pot next to Willowisp<Inscription Supplies>.

Just want to say that one of them is IN A VASE and not just growing on the ground at

/tar Lunarlight Bud

Lit up 6 of them, have the anima towards the basin, nothing happens, ran around 10 times making sure they are all glowing and that its actually 6 of them.

So seems like it can bug

When you are in Glitterfall basin make sure to look even outside the base, Beyond the "guards".

Just a general FYI, the buds do move, and they do have some rather quirky spots to boot. Case and point sometimes one will spawn inside a pot next to willowisp, just look for the butterflies! They circle around them and are very sparkly, making it obvious at times where they are!

Interestingly, activating these counts as a daily quest. I got my 10k daily quest achievement from just running over one of them.

I've found 6 pods and Willowisp. I'm not getting the buff when I run over the pods and there's nothing by Willowisp to click on. It appears bugged to me.

These treasure puzzles are giving me WoD flashbacks.

WoD: "Figure out this convoluted way to get to this treasure for a whole 15 Garrison Resources!"

4 WERE VISIBLE FROM THE POD ... AND ONE BEHIND SOME TALL ROCKS ... they are sort of in a circle around the pod

Just right over them ... Just make sure they actually get a blue glow ... sometime syou think you've activated them when you haven't !

Click to make sure you get that blue glow ... only takes about 30 secs to ride around and then click the pod that turns pink once you've lit 5 of them
