Quest chain starts in Grizzly Hills:
/way Grizzly Hills 18.4 88.2 Start at Glimmerfin Scout
If he isn't there: respawn takes around 5 minutes

Glimmerfin Scale - deliver to King Mrgl-Mrgl in Borean Tundra
Glimmerfin Welcome - fly back to Grizzly Hills, kill crabs on the ground and collect 10 meat
- remember to take the Elixir of Water Breathing you previoulsy got. Turn in inside the ship
A Big Horkin' Task - defeat Horker
Seer of the Waves - just other side of the ship
Pearl in the Deeps - pick up Giant Pearl. Avoid the elite snake
Trainer's Test - pet battle quest: Flipper, Snipper and Whipper (2x aqua and a critter). White to blue quality
- pets like Ikky or moths are fine. Trainer's pets seem to scale with your owns, so level 1 should work
Wrap it Up - collect the quest items
Guardian of the Smallest - defeat Great Mua'kin (elite)
- turn in and get your Glimr's Cracked Egg with Glimr inside

Has the abilities:
1. Punch
2. Egg Barrage
3. Ray of Hope (New)
4. Water Jet
5. Lucky Dance
6. Whirlpool

At 25 it has 1408 health, 279 attack and 295 speed.

Critter damage has historically been fairly rare for humanoid pets and aquatic damage has also not very common. As cute as this pet is, it probably won't see much use out of certain niche situations like family fighters.

Should take 30 or so minutes of your time to get.

When doing the quest Wrap it up...avoid touching the seaweed surrounding the quest items. The seaweed is electric and will shock you - dealing quite a lot of damage.

She is latest in Blizzards HD baby murlocs, the other options being her cousin that only looks good from the side and the distant relative with a far easier on the eyes look.

Murloc pets are actually incredibly rare so having her added to the game is quite nice since they are usually reserved for special events like blizzcon where there are too many to list but the latest being the leader of the murloc alliance

and if you want one of the very rare classic murloc's look you have that option to.

So, for those that would like to collect this pet but are wary of the pet battle portion of this chain - it's not really all that bad. I only have I think four level 25's and was able to do it on the second try and it's been about two years since I've even done a pet battle, let alone against a trainer. It took me two tries and I'd say if you have the pets leveled give it a go, even if they aren't optimal.

As for the underwater stuff - the only mount I have for this is the one from Darkmoon and it was fast enough to get me out of fatigue from taking the pearl at the first tick of damage when the bar ran out. So, fast enough. I didn't have a problem with the seaweed but I did go back and forth out of fatigue. As others have said, the pieces you need are surrounded by some rather shocking seaweed but just use caution and you'll have no problems. For the seaweed gathering and the pearl, those that don't have any kind of mount or ability to speed up swimming are probably going to have problems. Just free-swimming might be fast enough for the seaweed but you'll die getting the pearl. There's no penalty for dying though outside of wasting a water breathing potion. Even then with the three potions you're given - if you die getting the pearl and later on die while getting the seaweed furthest away, that still leaves you one to finish everything out with. So definitely doable.

The little guy that starts the chain is a bit buggy. I stood at the far end of the iceberg when he spawned and then came towards him and got nada. No worries, he comes back in about five minutes. In that time, an Ally showed up and when the little guy came back she ran right up and it dropped for both of us - so it may not be so much where you are just that it's a little buggy and if it doesn't drop don't despair.

I'm pretty sure I spent more time flying back and forth across Northend than I did actually doing the rest of this quest but it was kind of nice to revisit old areas. Plus, he's pretty cute.(##RESPBREAK##)258##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##

The last boss hits VERY hard at 70.

Question: How many times did you die to fatigue while doing these quests?

Answer: ...Yes. *flies back with resurrection sickness*

Watch the fatigue bar, folks! As a druid, I am used to ignoring water timer bars. And so few quests send you this deep into water nowadays.
I died several times because once you're down far enough after the pearl or seaweeds, it's quite the ways back to get out of the fatigue zone and back to safety!)

Glimmerfin Welcome
THIS QUEST IS SCALED - the crabs were at my lvl 70 - even though the turn in NPC was lvl 30.
The Sandshell crabs are reliable drops. The other often don't drop anything.
