Be out of melee range for Whirlwind; the initial hit will do 110k+, usually one-shotting you.

Retreat to the South East corner to easily avoid the Machines of War by juking north after the first one passes by.

i've had this fight several times now where Garrosh goes into WW, summons war machines and goes straight into another WW, if you dont hit him during any of these, the fight will reset. GG melee champs.

Ok they patched it, now it evades not only on the stairs but even in the sides of the room for me... this is so dumb, i guess i'll skip mag'hars for now

The amount of effort they make you go through to even get to the scenario that has any actual meat to it is ridiculous. Who thought he should have so many one hit kill low warning mechanics. I had to spirit wolf to even be able to outrun his whirlwind in the first place then get smashed by the weapons of war.

This may be one of the worst quests. If you pull him to one end of the room or the other you can easily kite him past the war machine fire. However, even if he is close, there is some imaginary line that if you cross, or get too close to a wall, he says, "weak," and resets. This also happens if you try to run from him on one of the ramps. It also seems to happen if you get a little too far away. This has happened three times after getting him down to 1/2 - 1/3 of his health.

If you stun him to prevent his WW or calling the war machines, he does it as soon as he comes out of stun. Use this to position yourself to avoid the war machine if you're far out of place.

The mechanics here are "WEAK."
