How many of these "ex-Blizzard" studios are there now? Forgive me if I remain skeptical until one of them produces a successful game.
Yet an other RTS :) well good luck but i think allmost no one likes to play those games anymore but we will see eventualy and who knows its really good and fun to play/pay
Yay... A RTS game. How exciting. When was the last time a RTS game held a big audience? Even Starcraft 2 is kind of dead. If they can pull it off, great. But I'm not holding my breath.
As much as I love watching Starcraft 2 and Age of Empires, RTS is just a really dead genre, there's really not a lot of people who want to play a competitive RTS. Sure, it's crowdfundended by people who want such a game, but it will never be a commercial success, no matter how good it is.
RTS is dead, I don't expect anything that can revive the genre. After all, the new generation of games is nothing like the old one, and it plays completely different games en masse.
Finally, a good Game - hopefully they dont suck at keeping the Release Date Like Activision Blizzard

So you want to know one of the top secrets to a successful VR RTS Frost Giant Studios? Make Black and White 2 Remastered with VR or make a Black and White 3 with VR. Simple, but would be LONG awaited (since 2006) and such a good game franchise to make VR compatible, heck the 2nd game back then was like VR with your mouse.
No one under 30 years of age cares about RTS, as evidenced by this video.
