Maybe Bwonsamdi's 'lover' is a female Loa of Life, like Real-Life Voudou's Manman Brigitt?
Mueh'zala kinda reminds me of a djinn, it'd be kinda funny if Bwonsamdi traps him in a lamp, or vase, or some type of vessel like that haha
Unless it was a fake out, Ilygonoth's Father of Sleep whisper in Nyalotha implies this won't be the last we see of Muehzala!
The name of this dungeon reminds me of King Willie's speech from Predator 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEc9ijY7fT0
I'm glad it's actually "De Other Side" not "The Other Side"
Nice!
I actually take that quote to mean Bwonsamdi was something of a player and woo'ed more than one heart
This doesn't make any sense and harms the established lore so far. I created feedback on 'in development' forums explaining it, and it was reposted on US side. I'd be very grateful for your support. https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/the-other-side-datamined-lore-and-dialogues/159682https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/de-other-side-feedback/560546
Err, but are we sure that Mueh'zala was really Bwonsamdi's boss? From early builds it seemed like it is the Winter Queen with Bwonsamdi collecting dead loa and possibly other spirits for her. I still don't see a reason to think it's not the case, because Bwon's line at the end of the dungeon can refer to literally anythig, like him tacking back the control of De Other Side (becoming it's boss again) or whatever.I guess Mueh'zala is still just an "alternative" loa of death, who conspired with the Jailer to eat all the stuff etc. Who knows, maybe many years ago they were just ordinary trolls, Vol'jin and Zalazane of their time. Could be funny.
"Mueh'zala: Can't stop what's comin', Bwonsamdi. Da Jainer's gonna break it all!"Jailer + Jaina = Jainer, what a shipShe's given up on Arthas and is going after the OG
