everyone saying the removal of a pvp stat is what killed pvp is WRONG!what killed pvp was the removal of the gear VENDORS and being able to farm the currency to buy the pieces you wanted. it's all RNG now from a box that "might" drop. wtf is that? there is NO incentive to grind pvp when gear is completely random. even pve isn't so random cuz you at least know which bosses drop your BiS. the pvp stat is irrelevant. pvpers need a reliable way to get their gear end of story.
wish they would completly seperate pvp and pve, did not enjoy pvp since wrath and doing pvp in BFA for essences was such a chore and was boring af
I notice people dont want pvp power returned because of carrying 2 sets of gear.Couldnt this be fixed by adding a gear slot tab for character info? and just be able to pre-fix full gear slots that way to swap between situations?Maybe even add a way for your character to equip pvp gear automatically when you enter pvp instances like arena and bg :)
If there's no PvP only stats, then why bother making a PvP vendor when you can get equal if not better gear from PvE content? Like, sorry but I don't get the point you're trying to make.
I'd love to see PvP gear with dedicated stats earnd from pvp content active in some pvp rated game modes (sub 1k5/1k8 rating?) and PvE gear with dedicated stats earnd from pve content active in some pve specific game modes (mythic+ sub 10 or 15/heroic or mythic raid ?). And lets the other modes be a "neutral" territory where pve players can have a step in pvp content and pvp players a step in pve content
Pvper's really stop to put all non pvp content in the same bag. Raid,mythic+,horrific vision and world content aren't the same thing. Saying that you need to to pve in order to get gear is silly. You can get 460-470 gear easily without stepping in a single raid. Raider also need to do vision in other to get the cloak.Pvp power cant do anything except to kill wolrd pvp and even pvp itself by forcing every non-pvper's to grind even more to do pvp just a bit.Instead of asking even more grind to prevent non pvpers to pvp, why dont we just ask to be able to get non pvp mandatory gear in pvp? So every one can grind the content they want but still be able to do other content.
Right now PvP is in it's most broken iteration it's ever been, and i challenge anyone to say otherwise. Only this week they introduced the "nerfed" Gushing Wounds corruption to vendor. I have several character around the 2.3-2.4 mmr bracket in 2v2, and i can promise you right now all you need to win games is 7x Gushing Wounds and a basic knowledge of arena as to not get oneshotted. This is literally disgusting i see people playing terribly, doing things like DR stuns and stuff you would generally get punished for, and nothing happens and they win anyway cos after 4 minute game their gushing wounds did 3 million damage and your healer is oom. I don't really care if they decide to keep gearing as it is or to go back to resilience-like systems, the only thing that matters is that they don't allow stuff like corruptions, legendary or pve trinkets into the arena, because it ruins the game for everyone. Today i played around 10 arenas, and in the vast majority i faced melee classes stacking this corruption which does over 30% of their overall damage in a 4-5 minute game. What a joke.
