The last paragraph on druids refers twice to reincarnation... I think the author means rebirth.
Author should be aware that a big reason why druids are low are not from raw healing output, but because rejuvenation and regrowth often are banned buffs due to buff cap restrictions in most tryhard guilds.Edit: you spend a lot of time talking about moonglow, but the best specc 'untill naxx is regrowth specc where you specc into regrowth crit chance and downrank regrowth. It's a mana-hungry specc so it demands constant popping of demonic runes and mana pots, but it can 100% top meters if played by a good player, since you are essentially casting a flash heal that always crits and has a hot with it.
Edits are a thing. Please refrain from attacking one another; there are enough needlessly argumentative and negative comments online already, without the need to add more to the mix.
While I like discussions of how various healers are dealing with the challenges of the new raid tier, I find this series of "BIS" Spec posts are too simplistic, ranking based on a single attribute out of many. Speaking as a druid healer, I know I will probably always struggle to compete against the best geared holy priests in our raid for sheer HPS. But, that isn't anywhere near the whole story of why you want this or that healer. And my goal isn't to top HPS lists - it's to keep my raid alive, and help us progress through tier efficiently. My raid still considers me indispensable for all the reasons above (FF, B-rez, Innervate dealer) and a few others. Our HoTs can help smooth tank damage without overwriting a Renew. And Hibernate has continued usefulness in BWL from Razergore through various nasty trash packs of dragonkin - when a priest using Fear is a disaster. And Thorns on off-tanks helps with threat.Do we need/want 9 resto druids? Nope. But we NEED one, and we WANT one or two more. Do we need/want 9 shamans? Nope. But we really WANT to have at least two, and three would be better. And that would make up close to half the healing roster. Do we need/want nothing but priests? Um, no. They are awesome healers, but bring none of the special utility of these other two classes that make our lives so much easier and our fights more successful. So, I'm not really sure what the point of these Best Spec lists is. They don't reflect the reality of raid comps. And I doubt anyone is about to dump their raid-geared level 60 and reroll based on a BIS list. I appreciate the time that goes into writing any article, but I would much rather you spent the time and screen space sharing class-specific strats or shortcuts that top healers are using in BWL to make things easier/faster/smoother or warn us about class-specific hiccups to watch out for. Thanks
Came here for an extensive list of gear, but it just links to a mediocre Priest BiS list that needs updating.
