Priestess Alun'za 1:00
Hardest Trashpack 27:11Last Defender
can still pack a punch, especially when powered up by critters! This dungeon took almost exactly 3.5 hours, one hour less than Motherlode +9.
Sorry about not showing healing done for the fights, forgot to record it! It usually is around 10k, which I assume it would be here aswell.
Fun thing to note is that even if your teammate leaves instantly and goes offline, the run counts for their weekly chest (as seen at 27:04).
Neck LvL: 24
(first boss) Blessed Hammer
(to cheese) Cavalier
(wanted BOP) Blessing of Spellwarding
(Trash)Hand of the Protector
(great healing)Judgment of Light Righteous Protector
(good healing) Last Defender
As you can see at 27:11, you can use Repentance
to split up the trash groups, this made it easy to slowly power through all the adds. This didn't work against the beasts in the instance however, against these you instead kite and kill them off one by one.
Priestess Alun'za 0:52
This is the hardest boss, even harder with fortification because it is the adds scaling. This makes it hard to defeat the adds intime before more spawns.
The solution I figured out was to get help from our old friend Last Defender
. The critters in the instance will attack you if you aggro them. This makes you able to gather them up and get quite a boost to your Last Defender
. Even better is that they miss all the time which procs Grand Crusader
Most critters are present at Rezan's location.
During the bossfight, make you sure use Shield of the Righteous
when no critters are infront of you, otherwise they will die! Also focus the add all the time. Last Defender
s damage reduction is capped at 50% now, so you will still take moderate damage.
Quite a slow and boring boss since you will be stuck running most of the time. I prefer to stay on the side furthest away from the entrance. There is a lot of room to move here and you can easily kite him back and forth. You might not be able to avoid the fear, but it won't matter too much since the boss will stand still after casting it.
If you hug the wall, the fear won't make you run far. This makes you have a very low chance of aggroing additional raptors.
Prepare your Shield of the Righteous
after you been running away from the boss, since his Serrated Teeth
causes you to take huge amount of damage!
Quite an easy boss, during p1 he will keep spamming his jump so you won't take too much damage during the phase if you avoid it. Make sure you get the totems to 4% health. Since around 2% they start to regain their HP. Also make sure you have long range damage ready for them!
During p2 he will go down quite quickly, however his damage is increased. Cleanse
yourself after his Noxious Stench to get rid of debuff (interrupting it is also good!). Keep moving backwards in a nice circle to avoid standing in any aoe.
Make sure you have an interrupt ready for Wracking Pain
. Avenger's Shield
is amazing for this.
The boss won't use any Soulrend on the tank, so you are able to ignore that mechanic completely!
Time your active defense for Skewer
, since it hurts quite a bit. Also stack up the spiders and move away from them. Remember
that they will only chase you when they grow "big" The damage taken during this boss is moderate, so make sure you use your rotation well!
This was quite an intense solo, however I managed the first boss way easier than I expected. Overall this solo took me about 4.5 hours.
0:25 Coin-Operated Crowd Pummeler
11:13 Rixxa Fluxflame
17:47 Mogul Razdunk
26:47 Challenger's Cache
Talents and Stats shown in the beginning of the video. However after second boss I changed into Holy Shield
and Spellwarding for Rixxa.
The hardest trash is by far the last pack before Rixxa. There is a double Mastermind spawn. I defeated them by kiting and slowly killing them by long range abilities. If you stay in meele they will both melt you with magic damage.
A special trick that comes in handy when clearing the trash is to kite a bunch of mobs and repentance one of them. Afterwards when you die you can keep going on that mob while the rest of the group reset. This makes you able to pick off most mobs one by one.
Coin-Operated Crowd Pummeler 0:25
This was the hardest of the bosses. He usually stacks up his Coin buff quite quickly (for some reason he stopped gaining stacks however...)
The most important thing to think about is to make sure all grenades go onto him. Use Blessed Hammer since you will mainly take physical damage and time your SOTR well so you have it active for most of the time he is actively attacking. The saving grace here is that he spend a lot of time casting other abilities, this gives you breathing room to regain charges on your defensives.
Make sure you kite him away from the coins as good as possible, you will most likely get grenade spawns inside and you will have to go for them either way. So a bit of RNG is required to down him.
One of the easier ones, simply for the reason that the adds are easily kited which makes you able to drop off the debuff. Use
most of your CDs in the beginning to burn down the adds, and then during combat be ready when they come off CD for more add spawns. Aslong as you keep track of the adds debuff that is put on you and burn them down quickly this boss shouldn't be too hard!
Rixxa Fluxflame 11:13
Second hardest boss for the reason that she got only magic damage. She won't meele hit a single time so most of a tanks defensives are useless. Thanks to Holy Shield and being able to use Flash of Light
, the fight is manageable.
Make sure to position her so that she will clear the arena with her Propellant Blast
. This is a good time to hardcast Flash of Light
since she won't damage you (except if you have a dot on you).
The most damage income will be during her Chemical Burn
. The debuff is nasty and that along with her usual spam of Searing Reagent
could easily kill you. If needed, prepare some defensives to outlast her until the next Propellant Blast
. This boss is a fight of survival, so put as many traits and stats as possible to survive magic damage.
Mogul Razdunk 17:47
Also one of the easier ones, however he does have quite a bunch of burst damage on you when he uses Homing Missile
. He also does magic damage over the course of the battle.
Make sure you watch where the "bomberplanes" are, since they will fly through the battlefield and bombard you. You get some breathing room during his Gatling Gun
since it is easily avoided.
I suggest you save most CDs for phase 2, a double Skyscorcher spawn does hurt. Interrupt or avoid their Concussion Charge
and time your active defensives for their other abilities.
