About damn time on the warfront AFKers
Makes sense to deal with AFKers in such a manner. People will find a way around it like with BG AFKing and unlike LFR, it's much safer and potentially harder to notice (people hanging out at the mines is normal, for example), but getting rid of low-hanging fruit is appreciated.
So long, AFKers, wish you could be removed from all the things automatically.
GOOD! Sorry for caps, just very happy with that change. It was very irritating to have people AFKing, which happened a lot with such a large map.
I was about to be a bit miffed at the AFK change, but it's a whole five minutes until you're flagged with it, so thank goodness for that.\r\rEven a quick bathroom trip mid-Warfront won't boot you out - but it'll definitely get rid of any lazy folks!
God yes wont need to kick AFKers anymore.
What about people who simply walk out the gate to go explore the entire instance Eastern Kingdoms.
What about people who simply walk out the gate to go explore the entire instance Eastern Kingdoms.\r\rWarfront is a not place for RP or exploration.
Well, a note where I was kicked in AV while taking the alliance mine. That is twice that has happened, there is no way in heck I will ever take the mine in AV again.\r\rGuess the system can work both ways.
The glory times of getting a high GS item for free are over FeelsBadMan
About damn time on the warfront AFKers\r\rWAY too late, thousands of players fully kit while afking
What about people who simply walk out the gate to go explore the entire instance Eastern Kingdoms.\r\rWarfront is a not place for RP or exploration.\r\rAbsolutely, but there are many forum posts of people leaving the warfront area to explore eastern kingdoms. It's worse than AFK'ing - they're actively at their keyboard but not present in the group activities.
Now if only this applied to Random Dungeons, there always seems to be one person who declines several times before you can get in.
"Warfronts\rPlayers who are Away From Keyboard will now be automatically removed from the Warfront."\rOhh yaaas!
Now if only this applied to Random Dungeons, there always seems to be one person who declines several times before you can get in.\r\rLol yeah. There's ALWAYS one guy that declines. You know him to? You've been waiting for 35 minutes, just to have some knob decline and return you back to the queue.
i've only ever seen people being lazy during the stage where mobs are pouring out of the gate and a bunch of cowards just sit there in highperch or just below it watching like two people slowly beat them down with an army of npc troops. then they rush in once the commander is open to fight. like not even going AFK, just running in circles and not doing anything.\r\ri've taken to going up and \/yelling at people to move their asses, works surprisingly well. i guess it helps i'm a tank who brings everything with me though...

You've been waiting for 35 minutes, just to have some knob decline and return you back to the queue.\r\rI always suspect it's either a DD that has been waiting for the queue so long they forgot and went afk, or someone that queued and then logged off. Game keeps you in the queue for some time before kicking you out, after all.
What a shame, it was short lived but I can now announce that the <Stromgarde Defence Squad> had a great but short run :(
That means if I will continue using chat I will not be removed? ^_^
Other than the "explorers" running in circles around the Warfront, the AFK'ers I've seen all go sit in the tents by the gate that leads to the lumber area.
