Something seems weird if you only inherit the % of your current bar at the end of the week. If you had 22k AP this week, that puts you at level 17 and about 87% bar. Next week if it's the way they describe, you'll be 87% bar at level 17 still but that equates to ~17k Azerite. If it's the way they say, you effectively lose ~5k Azerite which is not a small amount in terms of time to farm.If it's this way, it makes it absolutely not worth farming ever. I would hope they simply level your amulet with as much Azerite as you farmed in equivalence to the new scaling.
I guess this iteration of AK is a bit better than numerical inflation. Was getting a little concerned about the increased Azerite requirement, but I still wonder if there's a better way to go about doing this like raising the floor of Heart of Azeroth (or whatever comes after, since I doubt they'll exactly abandon this system) every tier or so.But for now, I hope the Azerite amount just overflows or something....Still waiting for an actual Paragon leveling system too.
Why are people saying that ak will reduce the amount of ap already gained? I didn't hear him say that, he said ak will reduce the amount of ap required to next level. Therefore if I need 10.4k to get to level 15 and currently have 5k towards it, then with the reset ak kicks in and that 10.4k will reduce to 8k, I will still have 5k - meaning I will now only need 3k to level.
isn't this a little too early? I would have expected AK to hit in November/December. Maybe I'm the only one, but I only got one character to 120 and still have to do one entire zone, haven't tried all dungeons (on nhc), am still leveling professions and so on...I feel myself somehow deprived of an important part of the games experience. Getting catch up bonuses two weeks after launch is way too early for me.Just my oppinion
I don't really understand the point of Azerite Power if it's just basically handed out at increasing rates for no effort whatsoever. Why have it in the game at all? It's just there to keep people subbed - it isn't motivating people to actually *do* anything to get it.
So to lose least Azerite with the AK changes, we’d need to aim for very low percentage towards next level when the weekly reset hits.Eg. If you’re at 80% towards next level, push to get there before reset. If you’re at 5% don’t focus on farming Azerite.
