...High Elves?
Literally 1 whole wanted quest on Kul Tiras gives Honorbound rep. And yet its equal? Riiiight
Remember when they put content in the game instead of nonsense to simply extend the time it takes to do anything? Getting sick of this.
Yet another Q/A with almost no concerns addressed and no problems fixed. I think these Q/A's like therapy sessions for Ion to make himself feel better. This guy is so self-absorbed he could suck the gravity out of a black hole.
"If you're using an addon doing World Quests, you're basically just running around the world, rather than spending time completing the objective. World Quests shouldn't be 90% travel time, 10% questing. "They are already this, or do they not play their own game?Maybe if we had flying it wouldnt be!
While I agree somewhat that mob hp scaling is somewhat necessary to prevent players easy-mode farming when geared up, I also feel that at this stage of the expansion it feels a little wonky. It doesn't feel like the hp scaling is relative to our current damage scaling (eg: our damage might go up 5% but mob hp goes up 15%) which makes it initially rough for a lot of less-geared players. It might be fine once M+ and raids/lfr opens up people are hitting the 360+ ilvl, but as of right now it feels pretty bad if you're below 340. Glad they're looking into the issue with the 'Wanted' quests for Horde though. Alliance friends were getting up to 550 rep (humans...) per quest, while I've gotten less than that total from 10 or so quests.
Ion needs to go. And so does this person I keep hearing is in charge of transmogs and hates the system.
I'm level 115. Is life really that bad at 120 before the gear starts to come in? Surely people aren't thinking that just because they can't pull three mobs at once and zerg their world quests they are "underpowered" - or is it really that undertuned?Didn't progression use to be: hit max level, do normal content, do heroic content, level an alt, rinse and repeat?I agree that the sentiment is that not everyone does mythic+, or raids. If it really is highly undertuned at level 120, I'm glad it's taking me so long to level, as catchup mechanics and tweaks are more likely to be rolled out. :)It's difficult to see every single character in town at level 120 already though, just 10 days in. Does no one else have a job and a family...?
wow classic - professions mattered, most quest items mattered. your gear lasted. took you months to level to max level. the community was not full of trash as people HAD to rely on eachother to do anything (from questing to pvp to dungeons and raids). most peopel didn't even have epic gear. attempting to pull more than one mob at a time out in the open world usually resulted in instant death. there was no lfr, no lfg..and yet it became the most popular mmorpg of all time.. it was also an rpg , with rpg elements (full customization with gear, talents) classes used to have a lot more diversity and access to more weapons..classes did not really have specs..feral and guardian druid were basically the same thing. you used to hve to read quests in order to accept the quests. you were lucky to have a few thousand gold.when you acheived something, it felt like an achievementpre cata and forward wow wow lost all of its rpg elements basically and is now just an mmo.introduction of lfr brought trolish nonsense into the community. the game was dumbed down to the point a two year old could play it. you no longer needed a group to do most quests in game ..and ELITE QUESTS were completely removed most zones were reworked and many things in game were removed.multiple raids were reworked or retooled into dungeonspeople were running around in epic gear and carrying legendaries as if it did not matterachievements..boring things you accomplish that usually don't matter, are irrelevant and out dated for most ppl.wod and forwardremoval of all guild perks and any point of even being in a guild..bfa forward -in the words of blizzard developers"we will not be releasing wow classic at the same time as current wow. we cannot manage two mmo's at once"announces classic alongside bfabfa appears to be wrapping up most wow story lines..leading many to believe wow is ending this expansion.just stuff to think about.
I think just heroic gear will fix 120-weakness-syndrome. My 120 started feeling better as I got 310ish ilevel. 325 will be way better. The island invasions, though, those I dislike their answer. As someone who went into Legion a raider and came out a casual, I kinda feel like AP isn't as much of a reward as it seems. It won't matter next xpac. The island drop rate should be improved :(
I think most ppl get too used to be strong in last 2 years in Legion and forgot what is to be fresh max lvl in a new world :) I am 340ilvl already and can pull 4-5 adds in a world but only if i run around dmg them, otherwise they killed me even i have 107k hp.Some time i get angry by that, but mostly i didnt cuz i remm that 340 is not 940,it more like 840 in Legion, and honestly with 840 NO ONE could pull more than 3 mobs and hope to survive more than 10s :D So stop crying about scaling and just play the game :) If someone is not yet realize that u have those 3 weeks to LEVELING toons, after 4th Sep YOU will get better items and WILL be stronger :) so go leveling, questing, raising professions and enjoy the World of Warcraft :)
