First, he predates his very existence by a long shot. Second, he hates necromancers more than anything, and the lich king is the apotheosis of a necromancer.

I'm thinking his boss is probably... Death. I mean, think about it, every possible cosmic power in Wow has a personification. The Light has the Naaru (arguably, Elune too), the Void has the old gods and the Void Lords, Arcane has the Titans, Nature has the wild gods (and I guess the Overgrowth in Draenor). Death doesn't have anything yet. And I'm guessing that's who Sylvanas is secretly working for.
