I was secretly in love with the classic model of a troll woman. I had to break up with the dwarf, but it was worth it.
My first character was a troll, on the advise of my partner.I joined in the later end of MoP, when SoO was the endgame content so he kept telling me how Vol'jin was the real Horde Warchief and that I should /spit on Garrosh whenever in in Grommash Hold. It's a shame they didn't do much with Vol'jin as Warchief, all he really did was congratulate you on your Garrison if you were Horde in WoD.Although my original troll (that is currently gathering dust) was a female, I'll probably create a male Zandalari Troll as I personally do not like the appearance of female Troll faces since the model update. My most recent main was Worgen Druid and while I love the Druid class, I'll likely be switching over to Horde (probably Zandalari Troll) Druid as my main for the next expansion.
When i joined WoW on off servers ZulGurub was already "not actual" content but i was too lazy to farm it for tiger drop (((well, at least i can try BMAH for it now XDgonna start zandalari druid in BfA - their cat and moonkin forms are so awesome!
Leveling a character through all of Eastern Kingdoms (first time leveling there), I enjoyed the connection to the trolls abroad all the continent: The Witherbark in Arathi, the Revantusk and Vilebranch in Hinterlands, the Shadowpine in Ghostlands, the Mossflayer at Eastern Plaguelands, the Gurubashi in Stranglethorn Vale...Was a wonderful experience!
When I started playing WoW I loved to explore. One day I ran/swam into Yojamba Isle and that was my first encouter with trolls. And I loved it! Since that day trolls have a special place in my heart. Because of that I am glad I am Hero of the Zandalar Tribe!
I have many good memories from vanilla ZG,its the 1st raid i join with my guild but the best memory is when the loot master give me the destoryer of the worlds,is 1 of my favorite weapons 12 years ago and it is still now thnx to transmog.
My favorite troll related memory was probably killing Hakkar in Zul'Gurub for the first time. It was one of the few times I was raid leading for my guild by myself, so it was a nice accomplishment. An honorable (and related) mention is the accompanying corrupted blood plague that came out of Zul'Gurub. Even though it was annoying, it was also pretty funny to see major cities just being carpets of bones - certainly something that I won't ever forget.
All those druid forms are so neat, can't wait to see what the rest of the alliance ones will be and I wonder if they will update existing druids forms. I may have to roll a Zadalari Druid once the expansion hits
We were on the last boss for the Amani bear and we wiped at 9% with 45 seconds left. This was the week before they got rid of the bear. I had been organizing the runs for the past few weeks and everyone was cool with letting me get the bear. Being so close was devastating. At least I have the ZG raptor.
My favourite memory must be from doing the new Zul'Aman and Zul'Gurub in Cataclysm. I ran a lot of them with a very great guild, which, unfortunately since fell apart. Often, I would run Zul'Gurub even after the release of the newer dungeons - End Time, Hour of Twilight and the Well of Eternity. I would often end up getting the help of the guild's raid team's warrior tank. Oh we had lots of fun in those dungeons, chatting around, getting people their war bear - we had a lot of practice after having gotten our own. Now, 6 years later, me and that one warrior are a couple, and have our own little guild. :)
For me it was the moment when Thrall offered the warchief role to Zul'jin that had the most impact. Zul'jin was up until that point always the more cautious, strategic background character, and to appoint him as leader was a brilliant choice and one that was accepted by the other faction leaders with little or no objections.
My rogue still has a completed "A Collection of Heads" in his Quest log that will stay there forever A Collection of HeadsI ran Original ZG on my druid every 3 days for months and months trying to get the mounts. I was able to get Swift Zulian Tiger with like 3 resets left before ZG closed. In my old guild we were able to clear ZA for the bear mount exactly once, and it went to a Paladin who promptly left our guild. That was a bummer. My main is a Tauren Druid, and I'm tempted to race change ( if we can) into a Zandalari because the new models are amazing.
One of my favorite things about vanilla trolls was their joke about killing dwarves. As for Zandalari trolls, I look forward to killing enemies and sending their souls to Bwonsamdi.
Troll was my first race i created on WoW, although i switcher to Taurens later because of the hunched backs of trolls but finally it looks like I can go back :D Really excited to play Zandalari, I m going to save up my 110 lvl boost so I can jump right in. And favorite memory? Well anything concerning VolJin he is awesome character I hope we get him back somehow (T_T), and playeable shadow hunters woudl be pretty nice too, please papa Blizz...
First, thanks to Nobbel for the great lore bits as always. I love the collaborations you guys are up to.My favorite troll memory is scouring the world for all the possible raptor mounts I could get my Shaman Troll hands on. The ones that mean most to me, however, are the Darkspear flavored ones from the Trial of the Crusader dailies. Having both the Darkspear title and mounts meant a lot to me. I have a soft spot in my heart for troll culture. They can be serious jerks, but I love them. Bring on my countless Zandalari alts! Thanks again, Wowhead!
My favorite moment as troll was old removed /silly troll joke.I kill two dwarves in the morning. I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon And 'den I feel all right. I kill two dwarves in time of peace and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarvesAnd 'den I kill two more. I know it was referral to I smoke two joints.
Good times were. When ZulGurub was added, my guild was already overgear for this raid. Although on the other hand, the raid was relatively simple, even Hakkar killed many, but there was one optional boss who was bypassed by many who. Or when, being an Alliance, got a raptor and was given by a loot to a man who was not studied by the epic-mount, it's funny)And Amani ... Few people went there with us, mount received, and do not care for this raid.I'm waiting for subrace kultiras.
Trying to farm the tiger mount for like 4 months and now knowing that it had been removed from the game, then getting invincible on my first ICC run, so it was kinda worth it I guess.
I am the most excited about Zandalari druids. I need to be a pterodactyl. I must be a pterodactyl! I am the most excited about Zandalari trolls out of all the Allied races and can't wait to roll one!
I won't lie, I never cared for most trolls. However, there are exceptions! For example, watching Zen'Kiki learn how to play Druid in Western Plaguelands was hilarious.
