I really want Highborne elves as a subrace for Night elves. They can have more fancy hairstyles, jeweleries, etc.
so many entitled people demanding high elves......
I’m confused on the subject of high elfs I think it would be cool if they were added but there arnt that many of them in lore and it wouldn’t make sense tbh if anything I could see them doing half high elf half human with alleria Turalyon and Arator being very promnet in this exspension however that’s just me hoping for it tbh lol
More blood elves' models are fine.
It is simple... I think that - Valleria will replace Illidan...and Demon Hunter will be Void or Shadow Hunter...
I really hope the void elf with be available for night elf as well. That's the only one that caught my attention.
Sounds pretty far-fetched IMO. Other than the hero classes, all characters start life in already established starter zones which are designed for those core races. It's all very well saying "hey lookie, I mined this data, isn't it cool?" but when you think about the overall picture, it doesn't sit well at all.Can you honestly imagine starting a void elf in Teldrassil? How would this fit into the setting, and questlines for that zone? For this to work, Blizzard would (once again) have to redesign all the starter zones - a lot of extra work that they don't want to do. Hell, they don't even want to fix the issues with older zones, let alone re-vamp them a second time - they learned their lesson with CataclysmThe rest is probably just down to a new system for catergorization, or perhaps special models allowed for Gamemasters to distinguish them them player characters. If anything is intended for the player, it's more likely these would be part of new hero classes that have similar limitations that demon-hunter's do, based on the specifics of that class:Paragon: (upgraded Paladin based class) Lightforged Draenei for Alliance, Highmountain Tauren for HordeSorcerer (upgraded Mage based class) Void Elf for Alliance, Nightborne Elf for Horde. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for new races in the game, as this re-vamps the replay value - but I would rather completely new models, or playable versions of already established races that alrady fit into Azeroth as a whole, than the thought of a cheap substitute like a sub-race.
Sub-races are cool, but I still hope for a Murloc race that, like the Pandaren, can be either faction.
I want those hairs so bad! They would look so cool on any race tbh but Draenei just pull it off so good!
I want to play as a Taunka so bad!
what they could do to make this happen is add the main race to the game if not present already, say ...draenei or elf or orcs or blood elves, then during the leveling say...lv 10 or so, add some quest chains series say 5 quests that are sort of difficult to do to switch the race, for orcs to drink mannoroths blood to become red orcs, or fel orcs or etc, for nelf to infuse some energy from the well to become nightborne....stuff like that, so during the 10 levels we do, well have time to think what to choose, multiple variants will be good too, 2-3 for most races...dark iron dwarves, different kind of trolls with 1 unique ability, say dinomancer with ability to tame dinosaurs, different kind of elves, nightborne can replenish their full mana once every 3 minutes, or something, tauren highmountain and taunka, undead dark ranger like silvanas and etc...hope this gives you some ideas
Although I hope that this is a hint (cus I REALLY want subraces to be a thing), the grain of salt inside of me tinkles saying that this could also just be the WoW devs being lazy and just copy pasting the new "playable" races over and renaming the folder and file names.Hope I'm wrong, as Ion says that they want to bring us more customization options.
Oooo here Something about sub races and character customization from old blizzcons Blizzcon 2015: Chris Robinson stated in a Q&A session that the team are going to do Sub-races - but hadn't figured out the best way yet.Blizzcon 2016: Chris Robinson stated that the team thinks about sub-races all the time, and that they have something amazing coming in for customizations they will share with us quite soon
I know it was never going to happen, but I wished we had Fel-Taurens instead of Highmountain :-)
All that just to give Alliance blood elves? Are ally players really that jealous of the Horde? Cause everything else is just more of the same old, except for Horde getting the only actual NEW model (Nightborne). Also, where the hell are they going to get more High elves from, if the Alliance has only 2 (Vereesa and Alleria)? Are the Void Elves Sin'dorei who decided to turncoat? It makes no sense.
I want a neutral race, don't care much what it looks like at all. We should've gotten that with the goblins, actually, but then meh. Seriously, WoW NEEDS a neutral playable race, people who can just be outside the whole faction agenda. Or maybe just make DKs neutral, period. And make them have to build their rep from hated up with every race. It'd be fantastic to be exalted with the Orcs but hated with the Tauren, friendly with the Dwarfs and hated by the Humans.
Even if I Love the idea of subraces, I actually rather hope the new models from Wod gets some updates. I mean my Night elf still has big, round eyes and a permanent, hideous smile. None of the faces are good, none! My poor Night elf wants a beautiful face again.
