I really like these characters! I started playing at the end of WoD, so getting this giant lore dump is just making the game more and more immersive as I can go see statues of these people and see who they're all connected to. It just keeps branching off and sending me deeper down the lore rabbit hole, and I love it! I especially enjoy Turalyon's character :D
Love it! Reminds me so much of the audio drama leading up to Legion with Gul'dan. Honestly, I'm really happy to see more of this kind of content released :)
For years I've picked up bits of their story from the various novels but I was always interested in hearing more. When I heard they would be in Legion I was ecstatic! To finally be able to hear their story gathered in one spot is more than I could have asked for.
So I know that most people at this point have completed the patch 7.3 story so far, unfortunately I haven't, and I was spoiled by reading the first line on the news page. There wasn't even a spoiler alert. For current content, it would be greatly appreciated if there could be a spoiler tag. I thought this post was going to explain that this audio drama was about Alleria & Tularyon's time before 7.3 Argus hit, not what happened at the end of the patch story. I expected better from you WoWhead. I'm not asking for these kinds of posts to stop, but please don't put spoilers in the teaser paragraph on the news page, and also please point out spoilers with a *SPOILER* at the very least
This is so epic! I love stories like this.
Always happy for more lore!
THis is one of the best articles I've read on wowhead. I enjoy the complimentary shadow component and the thought of more characters embracing the shadow. We've fallen in love with the light, but we need to embrace the yin to this yang. I think this does a beautiful job of setting us up for the next expansion. Great job Blizz and co.
I think that one day Alleria will fall by the light or shadow. Or she will be killed by Turalyon...
I wish they released these with every patch. I understand they take a lot of work but they are so worth it.
The first poster with Dalaran and Argus looks amazing! Its good that they explained what happened to Alleria and Turalyon during their absence from Azeroth. What surprised me is how Alleria met Locus-Walker. I imagined that he will save Alleria from the legion, not that he will be a prisoner too. I do wonder what they are planning with Alleria and her Void powers. Based on what i read, maybe she will be the one that somehow awakens N'zoth? Or she sacrifices herself as implied, only to be futile?
Always like a good radio drama and to combine this with warcraft.Well what can i say excellent really great
sound balance is poor. music drowns out the narration periodically.
Haven't begun listening to the audio-drama yet, but I'm about to. The story I've gleaned from the post sounds like it'll be a huge deal in terms of story telling. I'm excited. :D
Amazing and looks like it took a lot of work and is greatly appreciated.
Certainly sounds interesting! Looking forward to seeing more of the Locus-walker aswell.
I love that Blizzard is so dedicated to their fans and their stories that they publish things like this. It really means a lot!
I think the story is fantastic but obviously anything to do with time shifts to where they don't experience years the same as us is often confusing. Overall I think their storytelling this expansion has been amazing at showing the flaws in previously "perfect" characters like the Naaru and Velen. I think Illidan orchestrated that perfectly with showing the leaders throughout the campaign that to win you can only rely on each other not one single person or force like the Light.
The more lore the merrier! Keep 'em coming! I love immersing myself in it :D
I think alleria will use her powers to help us win. Probably to defeat a monster of light at the end of next expansion or the one after.
