I love when Blizzard releases these things! So awesome to hear more about the lore, and also about these two that we havent heard of for so long!
It's good to see that Blizzard is trying to filling holes in their saga and giving hints like these about newcoming stories. I'd like to see the re-union of Windrunner sisters.
It was surely interesting read, finally seeing some background about where they were all the time, the mess of time and space Twisting Nether is and how Alleria got into contact with the void + some background of Light and Shadow. I hoped it'll show how they got to contact the Krokul as well. Also, as hunter main, was good to know how her bow ended up on Niskara.I was reading the PDF version, because I like that more than just listening.
This was awesome to read and understand the backstory. I think Alleria will be a boss from the next expansion raid. Blizzard should make more movies with these stories, or tv-shows.
I didn't plan to watch it at first, but when I watched the first 5 minutes of part 1, I didn't wanna stop! Great job blizz!
All of this is so amazing. And them i'm not only talking about the lore but also the audio, the visuals and more. A real lover of this will never stop at just playing the game and that's why I'm grateful that these stories are posted here!Of course they will try to elaborate from this as much as possible, but they've been doing a very good job at it.Just love it! Keep it up!
Always been intrigued by Lothraxion's Character, knowing how he plays into this with Alleria and such is enough to have my ears' attention. Props to you guys at blizzard for satisfying the lore-community !
This audio drama was honestly the perfect thing to clear up some of the loose ends and confusions brought in with the story campaign in 7.3. With Alleria even considering the void an option, being imprisoned and also why Xe'ra seemed all too eager to force the prophecy of Light and Shadow to happen upon illidan. I'm also glad they finally gave some sort of backstory to our mysterious Light Dreadlord buddy. Even if its small it's nice to understand why and even how a dreadlord was able to move away from the Legion and join the Army of the Light. Considering also how they have been going upon the theme of trying to find that grey area between Light and Void i think it's good to show that the void itself isn't necessarily 'evil' in the sense we got from the Chronicles while the Light isn't this all glorious power as well. Just two powerhouses of forces that need each other as much as they hate each other.
Really excited about a possible Windrunner reuinion. It's lore related bits like this that make me follow World of Warcraft on sites like Wowhead, even during times when I'm not playing WoW for various reasons. The WoW universe is so rich in lore I just keep wanting to come back! :)
As a librarian and avid WoW player that was just neat as all..heck:) Thank you to the voice actors and story tellers!
Gives a deeper understanding of the quest lines in patch 7.3.0. Really interesting! Heard all parts after bedtime! Oops.Maybe there will be a part 4 someday?
The last ten minutes or so from the third part gave me the absolute chills. It's how I'd love to see my own shadow priest.
So we finally got it absolutely confirmed that there is an Old God residing on Azeroth and he is underwater which brings me to speculations that the next expansion will float around it.Not that we are getting more of the same (we faced Old Gods already), but still looks exciting to me. Combine that with underwater zones, we might get an interesing expansion. The Void Lords are even more ultimate bosses that Old Gods and Legion, so still a lot of space here for taking the story. Just reminds me of Dragon Ball where we got more and more powerful enemies, to the brink of absurde. Though if there will be a mainly underwater expansion, I will most likely not see it - Vashj'ir still gives me nightmares.
I hope Blizzard release more like this. What I find the most interesting is Alleria's relevance to Sylvanas. Since Warcraft 2, I've found the Windrunner characters really amazing! It's great to have more story about Alleria again, she was one of my favourite during the Human Warcraft 2 Campaign!
Light and shadow are mere powerfull being that are fighting each other and gather the strength of "lesser" races to do their biding. But i dont think that there is a place for something else in the universe.ps : the posters looks awesome
I haven't listened to the entire thing yet, but it sounded super interesting so far! I'm saving it for my next commute this coming Tuesday.I'm really happy that they're doing this kind of thing more often. I love game lore, but often in the past it's seemed like it's taken a serious backseat to "here's a new raid to murder your way through".Also, damn, that Dalaran poster. Gorgeous.
I'm a big fan of the audio dramas Blizz has been putting out. They're great for when you're farming content and just want something to listen to - ala audio books, obviously. I hope they keep putting them out! Also, I'm so glad you're doing this giveaway. I absolutely LOVE these posters!
Amazing..... Can I please see more........ Pleaseeeee!
I'm glad that we get an explanation about the "thousand years fight", which left me very confused while questing. It is also interesting to know that, while Light and Shadow are opposite, none is truly better than the other, as both can serve selfish purposes (like Xe'ra proved us). I can't wait to see where this will lead us in the future of the game!
I was surprised that the realization that you can not have one without the other to maintain balance was not set forth before. Those posters are of extreme visual attractiveness.
