The only reason blizzard is going to let us buy 90's is the fact that. People are going to just buy the x-pac then transfer the new 90 to their account anyhow. By blizzard letting us buy 90's straight from the store it's just saving time and more than likely money.

I moved from Europe to Canada last year. The 6 hour time difference renders raiding with my old guild virtually impossible. I've been playing since Vanilla. Now I started over on a US server as you cannot transfer between tectonic plates. No bags, no sugar daddy, no titles no achievements. Boosting a new char to lvl90 instantly is like heaven as I do know how to play a rogue or hunter just don't have the time to level them. Thank you Blizzard
So i would really like to know does that mean Tyrael's Charger is gonna be available for anyone to buy o.0 ? It would be really really really^10000 awesome i always wanted that mount i am 3 months in this game and honestly i like the way that you guys wanna have smth unique or exclusive but at the same time i believe that anyone who plays the game old or new has the right to own whatever thing he/she desires ( not saying make everything easy ) but for real ppl enjoy this mount and mostly have t thrown away covered in dust in their mounts and pets menu and riding a glakaras spawn and they got it only just they paid for a full year 15euros/USD per month honestly doesn't give ya the right to own this and count it as a unique , only in-game content during the release of a certain patch (ex.black Qiraji battletank , swift zulian tiger .. etc. ) those are the ones who are worthy to become exclusive to their cause one way or the other they did put effort and time into obtaining them not just freebies for doing a regular thingi hope to see it live.
What's with this test currency stuff? Do you have to pay for your level 90 character when it goes live?
Look, if you want to purchase instant lvl 90, do it!If you don't want to, then don't and stop complaining, you kinda miss that there already is en existing way to get to lvl 90 fast (illegal) yes, I'm talking about power leveling, and that is waaay more expensive than I think this will be, so see it on a good way, they killing the illegal power leveling
/cry
Are ANY of you looking at this from the stand-point of a new player or a returning veteran? There are a few pros and cons to this, NONE of which will affect other players: 1. If a player's character is lower than 60, then they don't get the veteran profession boost. This means that they will have to work like any other player for their keep. 2. When a new player does boost a character to level 90, they will most likely have NO gold. That means no riding skill and no gold to purchase bags (although Blizzard may give them some bags to start off with.) 3. What has almost EVERYONE been doing with their alts lately? Buying heirlooms for them and power-leveling to 90 while doing the same &#!% over and over. and over. The ONE level 90 boost is a way for Blizzard to say "Thank you for playing our game. Here's a jump-start for ya." 4. Last but not least, IT'S A FREAKING VIDEO GAME. If anybody is hurt about Blizzard selling a boost for ONE character per account, then I feel no sympathy for you, because it's just a way for them to make money. Business is business. P.S. People can still work for their characters if they want to. It's not like Blizz is demanding that you boost a toon to 90.
this is a terrible idea
its fine. more so, if wow is going past lv 100. i mean who wants to lv a toon from 1 to like 150
I think they should make a new players bundle with 3months game time and all expansions and that's the only way to get the level 90 boost. Pay to play is fine. Pay to win is awful.
Man, that green gear is like better then the gear I spent 800 valor points on, or the epics I have.
Paying to hit 90 isn't pay to win. It's pay to skip the old, irrelevant content you've seen way too many times leveling the alts you don't like as much as you feel like you should. It doesn't take a full leveling experience to learn how to play a class and LFR can't possibly get worse than it already is; tanks without shields, DKs not using presences, melee hunters.
To get up the professions you need to be at least level 60! So playing through 2/3 of the levels should be worth getting some free profession boosts while your at it.
I keep reading people use the phrase "pay to win", and wonder...what the heck are you defining as "winning"? Is a boosted character going to get a big pile of gold, is that winning? Are they going to get a full set of epic gear, is that winning? Are they going to get all the achievements that long-time dedicated raiders have gotten, is that winning? How about every mount in the game, will they get that? Or maybe just every pet, is that it? Oh, no, I've got it...they'll become instantly skilled in their class, and able to compete in any format (BGs, raids, whatever) with people who've been at it for years, that's the win they get, right?Wait, do you mean that if they want any of that stuff, they have to go out and work for it themselves? So what "win" are they paying for, again?Oh, yeah...the right to get ridiculed by people who have forgotten that once upon a time, they did not have half a clue how to play, either. Ring up those wins, youbetcha.(passing the bowl of popcorn around again)
This seems fine by me..
