I've used Steam since beta and Origin since BF3.Steam has come so far since it started and makes purchasing games a lot easier as well as keeping them up to date and keeping in touch with friends.Origin is bobbins in comparison, only use it so I can play Sim City and BF3Still end up coming back to Wow though :)
I use Steam to get stuff without much of a hassel. It's very easy to use too.
I've used steam and origin before, as well as GoG, but not regularly.
Yes. Steam, Uplay and a few others. I believe it is good to have a few different games to play, doesn't mean I don't collect pets in wow though ;)
I have used Steam before but don't use it very often.
No, I don't; I play Skyrim through Steam, but I've never bought games through them. I probably would if the game was good enough, and that was the only distribution method, but I prefer to purchase hard copies of software if I can.
Outside of WoW all my games are bought through steam. Reasons why?- I like to have all my games in one place. - Steam is easy to communicate with my other steam friends while gaming.- Valve has awesome daily and weekly deals.- They are coming out with a platform in the near future. Will be able to play my steam PC games on my TV with the console using the games I have already purchased.P.S. I don't have a Cinder Kitty! Wowhead rules!
Only Steam, and only because I was forced to install it to play Skyrim. I never use it and have always secretly hated it, since it forced me to be online to install a single player game. I think services like Steam certainly have value, but only when they are optional; not when they are forced down users' throats due to corporate bundling agreements.
Yes . i use Steam
Yes I use steam because it makes it easy to keep track of games I own, without having a million disks lying around.
I do have a steam account. I used it to purchase Civ 3 and have not used it since. Not because I don't want to, it is just because I need an upgrade on my system and cannot run most games as of now.
Steam because it's an awesome way to get games and organize them, and Origin because it's the only way to play Mass Effect 3 :/
I use both Steam and EA Origin to download games I want to play. WoW isn't the only game I like to play. I enjoy almost any Valve game and both the Mass Effect and Dragon Age series. I believe the streaming launcher by WoW is the best way to download and play games, however.
The only didigtal downloads I ever tried was Steam, for CS & Civ mostly.Cheers !
