I love how people keep saying that you can throw things to influence the fight and sabotage people in revenge when in nice, bold letters, this post states that they REMOVED THAT FEATURE. You can no longer throw things to influence the fight. As it stands, I will probably look for someone selling invites for tips on trade. Someone's bound to be nice enough, there's a few on every realm that you know will do it and hopefully won't gouge you.EDIT: Holy heck, after going back and reading more of the posts, there are a lot of people who seem to think of themselves as special little snowflakes. Look, this is going to go viral after a bit and become very cheap. If you wanna nerdrage and quit because you have to wait a week for it, be our guest. We'll be better off without you. You were probably whiny and full of drama anyway.Having to wait a couple of days to a week does NOT equal not being able to see the content. People are acting like it's the end of the world that this costs a ton of money and say their piece like you'll NEVER see the Brawler's Guild. Eventually, there will be more available invites on a realm than there are people who need invites. Maybe alts might need them eventually but lord, it will be easy to find people who can invite you.If you're concerned about a realm first achievement, you're probably hardcore as hell anyway and most likely have the gold to buy one from the BMAH on day 1. If you're not, stop whining about the fact that they are "buying realm firsts". If you're not in that group of people who are, they most likely are the people that beat your guild to realm first raid achievements anyway so did you expect anything less? Realm First achievements aren't yours to have dropped in your lap like you made a bo-bo and deserve a cookie for it. They are for people who worked for them. And yes, they deserved it in this case too, even though it's gold. All the gold from raids and dungeons? They earned it. The gold made from checking out different markets in the AH and choosing whatever is most profitable for them? They earned it. Regardless of whether you agree, they earned that. So don't think you're entitled to an easy realm first just because this doesn't involve a raid or level cap. A realm first should be difficult no matter what it is about.TL:DR? Stop crying. It will be available to everyone before long. And if you're thinking that it's not for you because you must have it RIGHT the moment it comes out? You're probably right. Go play Farmville.
It seems like an artificial gating type thing. Of course the first invites will be expensive, but I'm sure they'll get lower after a few weeks/months when more and more people gain access.
People probably wouldn't be getting so upset about this had the rest of the level 90 content (read: most of the dailies) been done better (read: either more rep per completion so the grind period wasn't so long or the dailies not taking place in a very small area that everyone else goes to).
Too many people are crying over pointless "problems". There ARE casual players who have insane amounts of gold, so it isn't so exclusive. Not all of them will choose to pay the money for an invite anyway, so if you really want to get in on the action first, go farm the gold. Otherwise, just chill out. As countless people have said, one person invites 10 people, those 10 people invite 10 more people, and those 10 people will invite 10 more people, rinse and repeat. And as for the achievements, who cares? Realm First achievements require you to be on the game for a ridiculous amount of time that you could probably use to be doing more productive things instead, like going out with friends or doing homework. If you have that kind of time to sit on WoW and attempt for the achievement, kudos to you, but otherwise, it's really a silly thing to cry about.
