Well given my currently jobless til August state I'll probably play WoW, swim, garden, hike, play some more WoW etc etc.... Then in there go on vacation with the family for a week, maybe work more on getting Uldar ready...
Video games offer a combonation of something that no other media something can achive! I PLAY WOW ALL DAY LONG AND I"M PROUD OF IT!
Working to fuel the addiction...I mean play time for during the school year, and taking some summer classes
Two things : SWIMMING AND WARCRAFT
LOL, you sound like my dad: "games should be played only when you're really bored"
Well since I have school pretty much year round save for two weeks between every term, summer is just another uphill battle for me. I do wish I could do a little vacationing though but with my schedule it'll prolly be more WoW.Yaaaay law school.
I understand how you feel.Last year, I started volunteering at my local hospital and learned how to code Lua. I really enjoyed volunteering so I will be doing it again this year. I also visit family a lot and go on some weekend trips.I will also be helping my Dad out at his job this summer as well doing some web content management for his corporate website. There is many things you can do, and although you can find many examples and ideas that others do, it all comes down to what you enjoy spending time with and what you like. For me, I really enjoy the computers - I don't use them just to play WoW or browse the web. I got myself into photoshop, HTML, and even Lua. End note: just do something you really enjoy and make it something useful that you can use or incorporate later on in your life. The Summer is to have FUN - so when getting some ideas, don't do things that won't be fun!
Job lined up I got training for ufc and then WoW...
1.Breathe2.Eat3.WoW4.err ..... repeat steps 1-3
Like you good sir, I have spent a lot of my time playing WoW.I've been playing for the past 4 summers, this makes 5.And im actually trying to not play as much as I used too. What I find that works...is to constantly bug your friends to do something.Or catch up on your Z's and sleep half the day away.Getting a job is also a good choice, but with the recession it probably stopped anything in your town from hiring like it did in my town. Also, if its your thing, see if you can find some type of gaming class. That actually teaches you how to make games.I did that, and it was a great thing to experience.Making your own game actually makes you appreciate the things you play. Plus, doing motion capture is extremely fun.
