I tend to play heavily armored, tanky, sword and board warriors in all mmorpgs nowadays.

In a solo RPG, I tend to go with stealth classes. Thieves, assassins, etc.But interestingly enough, in an MMORPG, I tend to lean toward melee, plate, very non-subtle classes. Warrior, Death Knight, Paladin, etc,
Single player wise, melee dps. Multilayer, tank.
I tend to play a mixer class, normally leaning towards what most games consider a paladin. In games that make you choose morality I stick to the paragon path or the "high road". I don't enjoy being killed over and over and paladins normally have a very high survival rating. Also on a side not quite RPG note but it fits with being "the good guy", I never killed a little sister. Kudos to anyone that gets the reference.
Well i play WoW(like most people here) and when I FIRST play a game I usually make a caster/ranged type class..when i first played WoW i made a mage to max then a druid boomy and then some others..when i played the SWTOR beta i made an inquisitor which is like a mage. When i played diablo 2 i played a sorcerer and raped everything lol.. i guess i just like how they play out and stuff and the kiting is fun :)
I tend to play an armored ranged type, so I can kill people before they even get near me or take a few hits if I have to. Also I played the first Fable on the xbox before it came out because I know one of the designers of the game. I've also figured out that RPG's are to boys as dolls are to girls. Also good luck to everyone else. I hope you guys win it instead :)
I play a rogue all day everyday. Dual-wielding like a boss.
i prefer spell casting classes or spell/melee style combat. on wow im a warlock so i prefer a spellcastor or spellfighter class like a death knight, necromancer, shadowbinder, corpse lord.
Depends. If it's a PVP game something with Stealth. Ranger or Rogue type is a safe bet for me. If it's more PVE and I might have friends with me from other games coming to try it out... I like a more complex support type role, something I'm sure nobody else I party with will be choosing.
I usually play some sort of hybrid, preferably a warrior/caster type hybrid. I like to be able to go toe to toe with monsters, but I also like having a few pretty, flashy spells with which to complement my skills and control the battlefield.
Hi,My favorite class is thief/rogue. If I start a new game I usually start it with this class.
Usually play a mage. Warrior types at times but I feel so dirty when I do cause it feels like such a mundane boring existence.. which I already have... lol
Mage
Typically I either play a caster or as a rogue. Which one I choose depends on either what I played in my last RPG, or on the game itself. For example, if I've heard a particular style of combat is more interesting. I have no idea what I would do in Reckoning. From what I saw in the Demo....everything looks so awesome. Maybe some sort of hybrid.
Rogue, because he is my main. And because I'm an evil, scary man, who likes to sap and sap and sap again.
Thieves, Rangers, and Beastmasters are always my first choice in any game, generally because they are great soloists. However, if more than one of those classes are represented in the game, I'll usually pick a beastmaster, then a thief, first. Later on in the game's life, I gravitate towards tank/shield classes and then experiment with the other classes as well.
Healer for me. I enjoy the challenge of keeping people alive when things are deadset on killing them =P
