Tank.. I am always a tank type character... even when it is punishing to be so.
For some reason I always start with a caster, although it never lasts. Rogue/stealth type characters seem to be my lasting and most played characters. Love the thrill of being able to watch someone/thing while they have absolutely no idea, before I stick my dagger in their back. :P
I tend to play any form of healing class myself as a preference. I can be anything as long as it heals like in wow: Paladin, Priest, Druid, Shaman, (Soon to be Monk!)

Warrior. I like crushing enemies faces with tons of different steel.
I usually go for Mage types, preferably ones with lots of utility and complexity.Edit: Having played the demo now, I went with a female Dokkalfar Acolyte wielding a staff and longsword. Late game I might switch to the Fighter-Mage destinies.
First character in a game is always a damage dealing caster. Caster because they are often less dependant on gear and more dependant on dodging/kiting things, and damage dealer because healers usually need to buddy up with someone and I enjoy both solo and multiplayer aspects of games. What the second, third, fourth etc characters are always varies.
I tend to play melee classes, especially any class that has a paladin type history behind it. I've always been a big fan of knights in gold armor since I was a kid.
I always gravitate toward rogue/ thief type characters. Love them sneaky little boogers.
any class/role with Fun/risky/hi-skill cap for a challangeotherwise a faith/demonic caster/knight depends on the mood
Usually it's something along the lines of a magic-casting knight or some duelist-type - preferably dual-wielding or using 1h-weapon :P But not a rogue, nope. Too many cheap tricks.
I play caster types, in WOW im a discipline/holy priest, or my arcane /frost mage. In Diablo 2 i play the sorceress and Javazon. Ive played the main tank/melee dps roles and have found i just love being a support character, whether its kiting a mob, doing massive burst damage, or just dropping CC, the raids cant survive without the support classes.
My character name is Nobal - I like to aim with accurance and fire at anything from range. I also like bringing my healing spells where I go, just incase I get into some trouble. Ranged warefare plus my love for survivability and keeping alive is the key to my success. An when all is done and dusted I will be the only one standing! All thanks to FROSTSHOCK!Nobal Gaming - Bringing reviews to facebook, blogger and youtube! ^^
Generally sneaky stabby/ranged things in single player or table top games, casters or tanks in online multiplay environments.
There's something about the brutality and barbaric feel that warrior classes have. I often think of Middle Age wars and going full force into battle, swinging my sword and blocking blows with my shield, yelling my battle cry on the top of my lungs to rally my fellow men. I refuse to stand in the back and cast Magic Missiles, and run and cry when an ogre comes near. I will fight it face to face, and let the best (wo)man win!
In WoW I'm normally a Druid or a rogue. I love being a rogue in the Elder Scrolls games as well. Especially since I can shoot fireballs at people before they realize I'm around. <3 Even though I sometimes enjoy being a caster, I'm definitely rogue class. *Slips silently away into the shadows.*
