We were the first to do Heroic Shadow Labs in our guild. After about 2 hours of wipping and our 4th wipe on Murmur our priest figured out what to do. She was actually a she irl and we were on vent to share strategy when she exclaimed, "I've got it. Get his nuts. Get his nuts. That is the key." To the casual vent listener this definitly promoted a bout of laughter and many "WTF did you just say?". The rest of our group was rolling with laughter over this and of course wipped one more time, but the stategy worked on the next attempt. To help all of you imagine this in your head think of a 120 pound 20ish white girl from the south yelling that in your ears.I was almost at a quiting point in my wow career and this definitly helped me to decide to stick around somemore. About a month later she came out to visit the other 3(another couple and myself) of us in the group that lived in Hawaii. Everytime she saw a cute boy she started hitting on the 3 of us would remind her, "Get his nuts, Get his nuts. That is the key."Great times in game can become great times in real life.

My favorite memory was when I killed the lich king finally it took forever, 46 attempts to be exact. TOTALLY WORTH IT TO teabag the LK
My favorite moment in WoW is when my first guild finally killed Ragnaros. My guild was a core of friends who had originally played EQ together & a merge of smaller guilds that we took in to form. We took awhile to get used to the game back in Vanilla and learning to play with each other as a team. We had a really good & fast push through Molten Core, most bosses fell quickly and it launched our little guild to the top of the Horde food chain. Even with the difficulty of sorting out the Garr adds with no use of Raid Marking tools or Addons and coordinating each Mage a CC target on Majordomo we got them down. Then we got to Ragnaros, he honestly almost killed the guild. We banged our heads on him for months. In the process we lost a couple good players and some of the core was frustrated to the bone, but we just wouldn't give up. It took us almost 6 months of 7 day raiding to finally kill him and you could imagine how happy everyone was. It was like we had all won the lottery or something ehehe I have to say looking back at it now, we were such noobs but we sure had a good time :)
My favorite memory is hitting level 40 on my first main, a warlock. I never was a fast leveller and after finally hitting level 40, after a long and tiresome grind for the last few thousand experience in the Swamp of Sorrows, I felt great! Finally I could pick up my mount. For me, it felt as if I finally accomplished something.
My favorite memory was when I first started playing, just before the TBC launch. Exploring the environment, and killing my first boar was priceless. Plus being able to play with my little brother from across the county. I love this game.
my happiest WoW moment currently, is when Cata first came out, my fiancee and myself qued for Throne of Tides (the first Cata dungeon we could do together). We got into a wonderful party of which none of us knew anything about the dungeon. many laughs and jokes were had as we wiped constantly, to the then unknown forces of the naga. Not once did anyone get upset at someone dying. Not once was there a sour moment. Just 5 people, having fun while dying horribly. wish i had more of these moments
My favorite memories definitely would have to be raiding in vanilla. Nothing was more epic then walking into Molten Core with 39 people from my guild and seeing those two molten giants for the first time left me awestruck. Downing Ragnaros and Nefarion for the first time also make the list.
There are many favorites moments but i remember one now!I've been playing with my girlfriend for more than 3 years, she's not so "pro" but is a good way to keep in touch almost everyday. We had a fight in real life, and she didn't want to talk to me, not answering the phone, and i found her in game... same thing didn't want to answer my whispers, nor accept group, so i started looking for her through the world, then i remembered that her favorite place was nagrand, and i found her in one island over Garadar, i told her "I found you!" and then she talked to me. We continue playing together in Ragnaros server!
Mine would be when my guild and I went to do the easter event in an enemy town there was some much pvp and easter goodness. Also for the new content I am excited for the legendary staff.
My favorite moment was first time raiding Karazhan with my guild. The guild is pretty casual so up to then we werent able to raid cause we couldnt get 40 ppeople together
The absolute peak of awesomeness in my wow carreer has to be downing vashj after the 27th wipe in 2 days of agonizing progress. Still, I occasionally catch a glimpse of the core macro gathering dust in my spellbook and a cold shiver runs down my spine.
The pure feeling of accomplishment of the team downing that damn dirty LichAfter teaching a new guild the entirety of Naxxaramas, having been the only one to explore it prior to LKWeeks of learning Heigans Dance, and Grobbulus poisonous poopHugely differing strategies on 4 horsemen and taking many a Patchwerk hateful strike to the faceAnd of course the hilarity of “positive” thinking on ThaddiusHaving a super frost resist bear lvl and gear just for SapphThen the main eventDespite his ridiculous RNG of freezing healersAnd the Nerubians beating our offtank to death. We still got himAnd it was gooooooodso. very. damn. satisfyingly. good.
My favourite memory from oh-so many years of World of Warcraft must be very early on in vanilla leveling. Reaching 5gold a day at level 30, man I was the best player out there, for sure, totally.Yeap, the old leveling days, those were the best.
