My favorite memory from world of warcraft...It got to be when i played doing the closed beta, where i made my first night elf hunter, and after a few days i saw another hunter who had a white leopard... and well i was just amased, so i asked where he got it, and he replied that it was from ironforge... so i started my travel to Ironforge, and on the way i had to use the boat for the first time, and cross thou menethill harbor, and the tunnels that connected the different regions, and even tho i died quite a few times on my trip there, the moment when i first entered Ironforge was amasing... such an massive city, that was filled with life and an active chat and everything, man i was so sold when i saw that, and well i been playing ever since tho i still long for such long and massive journys...

There have been many moments during my time playing world of warcraft that I have loved and treasured. I have made many friends on this game and still have many aquaintences. after remembering all of the great times ive had i finally was able to discern my favorite moment. The day I joined my first guild was the greatest moment. i met many great people and made strong friendships that have lasted even outside of the game. even though i no longer play with any of my old guildmates i still keep in touch and keep them close to my heart.
Hmm... My favorite memory in WoW would have to be when I got my first Epic Flying Mount. I remember putting days and weeks of work in just for that darn Purple Griphon. After i got the mount I felt so accomplished and fulfilled. If only that feeling continued after about a month of having it.
My favorite moment in Wow was when i finally hit cap after 5 years of playing the game. Why is this? well every time i was about to hit cap a new expansion came out.Not to mention the fact that i kept unsubscribing because either i got bored of sitting in Ironforge for 30 min. at a time and logging off for the rest of the day or i just didn't have the $15 to spare. so when i had my dwarf pally at around 65 (i started in BC) i lost my account info and it got hacked so i had to make a new character. i was once again almost cap then WOTLK released so i level to 78 then what do you know, hello cataclysm. so now i finally have my one and only capped character. so when i saw that final DING! i was amazed that i finally hit cap before and expansion. :D
We had the 20% buff in ICC and we finished off our 25-man frostwyrms. That was the first time it really felt like I had become a "good" guild leader in terms of raiding. Glory mounts seemed like an unattainable status symbol a year or so before that.. and to see the guild I ran achieve it was amazing for me.
My favorite memories have got to be from TBC. Our first guild run in TK I managed to wipe the raid 4 times (random idiotic reasons like auto running into bosses and being a suicide-bomber) on various bosses but it was all light and fun. No whining, no ranting. <3 The good old days <3
My favorite moment was when my guild got our first kill of Razorgore in BWL. spent a month putting it all together. Truely awesomely designed fight back in the day.
My best wow moment was when I first started playing. I saw some ppl with pets helping them fight. So i randomly killed monsters till i had enough money to buy a cat from the lady. When i summoned the cat I noticed it didnt help me attack it just followed me.I felt soo stupid I wasted 50s. When I reached lvl 10 I could tame a pet and I never used the cat agian
I would have to say that leveling my first character was my favorite moment. That is the time when you really take the time to level so you can take in all the sights and sounds of the game. And the thrill of getting your first character to level 80 is a very nice moment indeed!
My favorite memory of WoW is without a doubt when a completely random fellow gnome showed up to me in Duskwood whilst I was killing some Rabid Dire Wolves on my very first character, a noble gnome mage. He asked for enchants, which I could support him with because I had mats for it in my bags. That person happens to be my best friend. And since then we've become friends. This event happend for approximately four years ago.
my favorite memory was in vanilla wow when at lvl 40 i found out i had talent points...I had wondered why all the quests were so hard...lol
What is your favorite memory from World of Warcraft and why?It was around 2007. It has only been a few months since we started playing (Oct '06), so we were still new to a lot of things in the game. My girlfriend and I were questing in Felwood, down in the Jaedanar barrow den making our way to the back of the cave for one of our quests. While we were killing the slimes that were down there, we were having casual conversation about looting everything from our kills regardless what they drop, since the slimes dropped nothing but vendor trash. After a while my girlfriend became annoyed by it, so she stopped looting from them. She didn't even click the slimes to see the loot window - she just simply skipped them. I didn't know she stopped until I looked back and noticed the slimes with her loot were still sparkling. We then had this little bit of dialogue:Me: "Why did you stop looting..?"My GF: "I'm getting tired of looting nothing but vendor trash!"Me: "You should continue to do so. You never know what could drop. Even if it's vendor trash, you can always sell for money. It adds up."My GF: "I suppose.... but what could a slime possibly drop?"Infamous last words. When she went back to loot the slimes she missed, the first one she looted had an epic world drop: Glowing Brightwood Staff. We both were like "OH S***!". It was our very first time we acquired an epic. I gave her a few 'told ya so's' and the cat had her tongue. Excited as hell, when we got out of there, we went back to Darnassus and she had put the item up on the auction house. Sometime later she managed to sell the item for 1,200 gold. This was also her first time she passed the 1,000 gold mark. This is our most memorable moment because it taught her... and me, a valuable lesson about looting... lol. To this day, everytime she goes out farming for whatever and she has to kill mobs, I would give her this little bit of advice: "Be sure to loot your 'slimes'. You never know what they could possibly drop!" I'd chuckle, she would then give me that look, and proceeds to loot EVERYTHING.
My favorite moment in wow was me and a friend trying to find a group for Shattered halls back in bc days at around 2am. We found 2 other crazy people and ended up wiping constantly (no tank) but made friends with these 2 guys who happened to live in the same town as me. I didnt think about these guys for a few months but whilst lvling another toon during a Blood furnace run our tank left and someone in the group said they had a friend who could help who turned out to be one of the guys I met before. We got chatting again and organised to meet up for a drinks. We have been together over 3 years now, live together and we have a beautiful baby girl called Estelise. We both still play wow occationally when our little girl is in bed.
