That's a hard choice because one of my favorite villains is the Headless Horseman (mostly because I love how he speaks in verses). but if you look at holidays as an entierty then Winter's Veil would be my choice of heart, partly because it was the first world event my first character ever experienced but mostly because I'm a sucker for opening gifts (and in that aspect Winter's Veil has been one of the few holidays actually granting anything fun year after year).
Hallow's End without question. I'll always remember being about level 20, a couple of weeks after buying the game. This was October before TBC was released, so there was no reason to take part in any event other than fun. All the same, I tried to visit every inn I could to Trick or Treat, in the hopes that each innkeeper would have different rewards. When the Headless Horseman and associated quests were implemented either one or two years later, I was so excited, and it didn't disappoint. The attention to detail Blizz shows in all the world events is phenomenal, and it makes it feel like a living world.
Hallow's End is the best because it reminds me of "A Nightmare Before Christmas" which is the best thing to come out with a Disney Logo EVAR!
Midsummer Fire Festival for me :)How can you not love a celebration with an achievement called Burning Hot Pole Dance!
Midsummer by far, theres always so much to do and generally it'll bring back some world PVP in some areas when your doing the bonfires which we rarely see anymore. Plus it has the extra boss fight which is nice for getting stuff for my alts!
I'd have to go with Winter Veil, definitely. A perfect digital extension of my favorite real life holiday? Yes, please.
Brewfest! You can drink all you want without having a headache next day!
Love is in the Air. Lol I know but I can actually get my GF to play during that time without complaining about it! So it's perfect for me :P
the holiday i like best, thats a tough one.i would go with Pilgrim's Bounty, using Turkey Shooter on my fellow players ensued in so much fun among each other. its especially cool, if you use it on a hunter who uses feign death after being turned into a turkey!hunter never tasted that good :D
My favorite holiday is definitely Hallow's End. Not just because of the permanent-temporary mounts, but Hallow's End always makes me think of Sleepy Hollow - Is the Horseman's voice resembles of Christopher Walken's? But truly, an Ichabod Crane character is missing from the event. Maybe next year!
Lunar Festival, because it makes jokes about 'mooning' incredibly easy and less situational.
Winter Veil is my favorite holiday because it was going on when I first joined WoW. I loved getting the gifts under the tree, saving winter veil and a reindeer from pirates and yetis.

I'd have to say that Hallow's End would be my favorite holiday. I'm a huge fan of the decor (creepy candles, carved pumpkins, and witches' hats anyone?), love the instant flight brooms which I wish I could keep all year long, not to mention Hallow's End gives my shaman yet another chance at the Horseman's Reins, which has managed to elude me as a collector for the past several years now. Costumes, masks, pumpkin pets, and of course the Headless Horseman himself makes for an awesome holiday. Sure, Winter Veil is fun and all with its presents and reindeer, but snowmen and old Great-Father Winter just can't quite give me the ambiance that I enjoy that's created by all the random bats flying around in major cities and hearing the rhymes of the Horseman over and over again. What can I say, I like jamming pumpkins onto the heads of my friends and being turned into a ghost. I'd like to see turkeys and Kwee Q. Peddlefeet try to give me that sort of fun.
Being Canadian, obviously I have to admit my favorite holiday is Brewfest. It's simply awesome sauce.
My favorite holiday in WoW is probably Hallow's End just because I get to kill the headless horseman over and over and over and over... :-)
My favourite holiday has to be brewfest. Having 2 whole weeks of gettin drunk and classing it as a holiday is shere brilliance. The dailies are fun, there are some cool mounts to get out of it, and the music inside the camps is just so contageous and catchy. Hours after logging off n days after the festival is finished and i can still hear the music playing in my head. Also it brings back good memories. Years ago when i first downloaded the trial, i made a dwarf warrior. i spent hours just running around coldridge valley in amazement at the backgrounds, the creatures, the buildings. it was incredible. it took me 4 hours to work towards gettin to ironforge and many more hours over the next week doing all the quests in dun morogh. then when i was about to follow the quests to loch modan i found the festival at the bottom of the hill. that just made me fall in love with the game even more. Its just all round good fun =D
My pick is Hallow's End as i'm horde started out as a undead and just love the whole story behind it in game with the Headless horseman. (the bastard won't drop his mount for my main still) but also because halloween was my favorite time as a little kid, all the pranks and trying to scare your friends. Some good times to be sure and it helps remind me of those days
My favorite WoW holiday would have to be hands down no competition, Hallows End.The reason being its my favorite inst because of how awesome everything looks with all the pumpkins, decorations, neat little toys you get or even the headless horsemens absolutely awesome rhymes. Its because the event itself is so special to me because when I first started playing WoW a couple of years ago the game was in the middle of Hallows End. What had made it all so much better was I had just gotten my first computer for my birthday and started playing my first computer game ever. Ill never forget when I started out on my blood elf paladin and explored Eversong woods and taking in the rich colors and pure beauty of the zone. Only to then wander into Falconwing square to see the headless horsemen circling the settlement and I desperately ran back and forth trying to put out the buildings that were on fire, then shortly after go toe to toe with the headless horsemen himself and felt extreme pride when I had taken him out. (Only to realize later on that I hadn't killed the real horsemen lol) Afterwords I ventured on and arrived into Silvermoon city and was instantly left breathless at how beautiful the city looked and filled with all the decorations which only raised my excitement of finally playing WoW on my belf paladin i had planned months ahead to make, doing so all on my very own computer. <3That was then years ago but even now every Hallows End I have a tradition where I go out to Falconwing square on my now level 85 belf paladin to relive my first moments of WoW and I ride through Eversong woods and eventually end up in the Ghostlands to do the same there, all the while taking in my most precious memories spent playing.
