My favourite holiday is, and will always be Hallow's End. Nothing seems more joyous than having the Headless Horseman terrorize Elwynn with his witty rhymes, the dailies are fun and not to mention you get the awesome Wickerman!P.S. I love my broom stick.
I'd have to say Hallow's End, simply because this is my favorite time of the year. Outside the game you can watch bad horror movies and eat candy until you feel like throwing up. When that's over though, I get on WoW and I get sucked in, especially during Hallow's End when they have there magic brooms fancy pets you can only get during this time and not to mention all of the quests you can do. It's just something fun to do in the game you can really get into that takes you away from all of the seriousness of raids and rated battlegrounds or arenas. It's always something spooky too, not that the other holidays are bad but with Hallow's End you're just expecting the right amount of intensity, at least I get it anyway.
I have to say I think that the Children's Week is my favorite holiday.Being able to take all the underprivileged orphans out into big, bad Azeroth kinda hits a little soft spot for me. My girlfriend isn't an orphan but she was pretty much dumped by her parents and got lucky to have a very loving adopted family that I actually enjoy so it makes me feel like I'm doing something decent in Azeroth and she loves it to death too.Plus who doesn't love asking people in trade if anyone wants to pet your Willy?
I know that there are many people out there that think World of Warcraft is a stupid game and it's for losers. I used to be one of those people that only played Call of Duty and other shooters. It all changed on a warm August back in 2010 when I realized that I was very close-minded about WoW. I gave up in my attempts to never play WoW after on of my best friends told me that I was being a &*!@#$. I sat down and made a troll hunter on his account and played for about 30 minutes. I am not exaggerating when I say that that time playing WoW was the most inviting experience I have ever felt in a game. I was amazed at how much detail was put into the game and I could hardly believe I was playing it (being the "Shooters for life" jerk that I was.) I was still not ready to accept my fault in hating this game so I didn't give any signs about me liking the game one bit. I went home later that day and started to download the trail. I had DSL internet at the time so it took about 5 nights to download. I didn't want any of my friends to know that I was playing WoW so I only downloaded it during the night because my friends were usually over. I was planning on replaying the trial every 10 days so I didn't have to pay (again for secretive reasons.) I finally came out of the bigot closet about a week after the download and I made a troll shaman on my friends account. After a few months of happy fun-time playing, I started to get bored of WoW and i stopped playing for a bit: That is until I learned of holidays/events! It was Noblegarden that brought me back into the game that I had once loved so much! Doing Noblegarden quests and achievements brought back the memories of my first 30 minutes of playing WoW.All in all, I couldn't be happier with ALL of the WoW Holidays/Events, but If I had to give all of my honor to one...it would have to be the one and only Noblegarden! -Good luck to all who entered this contest and good luck to future WoW players! =D -Wetmice <3
I would Have to say my Favorite Holiday is Hallows Endand my Reasons for Saying this is the Horseman himself"Prepare yourselves, the bells have tolled! Shelter your weak, your young and your old! Each of you shall pay the final sum! Cry for mercy; the reckoning has come! *Cackle"his voice, his Quotes, and even the battle itself. everything about him makes the Holiday enjoyableNot to Mention I have been playing World of Warcraft since 2007, and I have yet to get his Mount, and it is one of my most desired things in the game
Halloween is my favorite holiday in real life. So I gotta go with Hallow's End :D
Brewest! It's a cool event and you get completely smashed! :P
My favorite festival is the Lunar Festival. My parent's taught me respect my elders and this is something dear to me. I also like exploring all the far reaches of Azeroth and compared to the Summer festival's exploration where the tension of the conflict between the Allaince and the Horde is implied, the Lunar festival is more peaceful and tranquil :)
To me, I guess lately the holiday: "Pirate's Day" has been my favourite.. Not really because of the many quests or w/e other hollidays has - It's simply because it brings back memories from when I was tossing around in BWL with my Pirate Speak addon toggled on - making everyone around me furious cause of the random piraty comments I'd make... Though - Who wouldn't love making Lootlord Lashlayer walk the plank?Thar be my favourite day matey! ARRGH!
Hallow's end is my favorite holiday, because i like throwing jack-o-lanterns at people and running throught Stormwind with my Hallow's end mount and with my headless horseman horrific helmet .... Mhuhahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Mine would have to be winter veil! Tons of stuff to do..kill the greench, fly a reindeer, open gifts, and dress up like my helper box and throw snowballs at strangers...love it
