My favorite holiday has got to be Brewfest hands down. When i started playing wow it was at the start of Brewfest and it was so much fun. The drinking to see the wolpertinger was just a blast.
My favorite holiday in world of warcraft has to be children's week. All of the other holiday's lack a focus on real world issues, and children's week is one of the only in-game events that supports awareness towards an issues in real life. I think this link between the plight of foster children / children in the adoption program and the in-game children's week should be applied to more holidays. Why not decorate Stormwind and Orgrimmar pink for some of October in honor of breast cancer awareness?
Favorite is Brewfest because it has the most fun activities out of the bunch while the others don't have as much going for it.
I'm gonna have to say MidSummer Fire Festival I love the time of year, and I find the quests and mini-games really enjoyable compared to all the other holiday events. I just find it really fun :)
My favorite holiday is Noblegarden because we get to turn into bunnies and run around looking for the brightly colored eggs. It gets really competitive, so if you're not on your toes, even with a good camping spot, you can lose out!
Brewfest will always hold a special place in my heart. Kicking back with a drink in WoW and one in real life with my friends will always be a fond memory of mine.
I'd have to say Children's Week; because not only do you get to corrupt a small child with Bad Example, you also get to abandon them for Home Alone. And don't forget the best achievement title every... Hail To The King, Baby
Hallow's End is my favorite.. I love the darker theme. It's great to have fun with it on World of Warcraft and then go trick-or-treating.The costume aspect of Halloween is reminiscent of roleplaying a character.
Winter Veil, because you can gather around a xmas tree with your friends and open presents!
I only started playing WoW this past September so my holiday experience has been rather limited by time and character levels. (still need 10 more - ugh)Of the two I have participated in I do like the Halloween event, what with the candy, items and plethora tricks to make things interesting. The collect and trade combined with the random chance at an event item makes the scavenger hunt all that more fun. Makes you curious on what will pop up next, and if you are short a collectable item or two you can use those same candies to trade for those you missed. The Brewfest event it does come a close second with number one in the fun/frustration list being defending the beer challenge - Now we got to participate in those drunken brawls for once. I did like the touch with the slurred speech effects on top of the blurry vision and lack of direction sense yet amazing aim.Yet I do like the Halloween event just that little bit better - it has given me an excuse to circumnavigate the realms ......Now to use that parachute ..... *yoink* ... *clatter* .... backpack? 0.0 .... Oh Dear >_< .... *whump* _ _ _
It's definitely Halloween, with all of the decorations, the Headless Horsemen fight, all the little loot and candy. Lots and lots of candy.
My favorite holiday is Hallow's End!I enjoy collecting fun looking gear on all of my characters, and when Hallow's End rolls around, I have the opportunity to showcase my efforts in a variety of grand (or ridiculous) costumes! I mean, the masks help - Especially when I dress up like my guild mates - but just having a holiday devoted solely to dressing up and looking silly, I am all for it, and I can't wait for it.I also have a soft spot for rhyming couplets.
Hallows End is my favorite holiday in all of Azeroth as it brings that creepy feel to the game that undead players feel in Tirisfal Glades. I am a huge fan of the undead areas in the game and to be able to feel that presence in other parts of Azeroth is truly amazing. Your not killing Greench's or being turned into a cute bunny rabbit. You are getting the crap scared out of you with pure atmosphere and fighting a headless guy on a flaming horse, it just doesn't get any better than that!
My favorite holiday is Lunar Festival. My main is a druid, and it's nice that Moonglade is actually important once a year. But seriously, I enjoy the fireworks and the outfits, and the Omen fight is always interesting. Shooting fireworks at a giant evil two-headed wolf thing, good times.
My favorite has to be Pirates' Day! I'm the GM of "is a pirate" on Gorgonnash and its sad that we only have ONE DAY a year to celebrate! It should be "yo ho ho and a bottle of rum" every day of the year!
