totaly agree with u/Thebigfreeman running 10 tables now. i'm running only gold and anima mission costing 10anima, (and sometime xp mission too when nothing else)Leveling follower is worthless (except at beginning) : dont focus on it at all. Take xp from standard mission.seems even worse when all reach 60. On my 2 top char : i've very fewer gold&anima mission make sure you have 3-5 follower ahead of average level troup (at least 5more lv) : so you can handle difficult mission more easily (mix of top follwoer and your lower)i've also noticed that waiting almst a day provide me many more gold&anima mission. Much more than when i can 4hour renew(depending if homework or not : on 4hours resset, i have at best 30missions on 10 tables. If i do a day later, it can go up to 60+. )
The drop rate on materials is fine, but how about dropping the cost of the vendor materials? They are prohibitively expensive to anyone trying to level up legendary crafting (which in itself is a ridiculous system). Paying over 100g for one vendor item is fine if you have millions of gold or are prepared to buy gold, but otherwise its way beyond the scope of many casual players. It favours people with massive gold stores who can then corner the market on high level legendary bases.
The vendor mats are so expensive to prevent vendor shuffling.
would be better if there was some way to convert the lower base of mats to the rarer ones, I have thousands of shrouded cloth even after I did some vendor shuffle to dump a couple of thousand of them and barely any lightless silk.getting into legendaries is almost impossible as the AH price for the lower levels is less than the raw mats excluding the vendor mats, so seeing 190 legendaries selling for 90g when they cost over 1000g to make just from vendor matsmore needs to be done to allow for a healthy economyso for instance the new recipes on the timewalking vendors, why are they BoP, why can't I sell them or send them to my altsFor the mission tables, I find that leaving one following very low level allows me to get plenty of low level quests that my followers can complete easily, the difference in gold between a level 20 and a level 40 quest is hardly anything and gear is the same regardless of the level, I hardly do material quests because the mats is very little. Augment runes are now a lot harder to sell and don't sell for much more than their vendor price after you paid the AH listing cost and cut and then relisting when they dont sell.
So, Thebigfreeman is taking 40k/week with 8 characters with the gold missions while silobass is taking 19'8k/week with only one character?Isn't this too much discrepancy?
If they are trying to prevent Vendor Shuffle, then there should be separate types of mats for legendary crafts (which have no vendor price). I would prefer if R1 was dropped completely - no-one wants 180 gear at all now. As is, it is simply an overhead on the process. I reckon I have spent over 3m gold levelling the Leather, Mail and Plate items to rank 4/6 for each of the useful (i.e. non-Dom socket) items, and probably not made that back in terms of sales of R5/6 items (yet) as most were late-to-market. (I am, however, a completionist when it comes to professions and will no doubt also level the other items over the next year, even though they aren't usable).
