The tale of Sarge Jneem buying his mount with real money transfers and ridiculous amounts of gold is truly inspiring
Can we get an article comparing or going in-depth on sites such as rogue-auctions.com and thegadgetzantimes.com? How about using these without an in-game addon such as TradeSkillMaster? Thanks for keeping the weekly updates going!
To me the point was... HTH did he made that gold? 1mi day? Dude, srsly, teach us that.I really don't want to know how he finally did it. I wanted to know how farm gold...Also... on my server just gonna need to show on BMAH once... farmers already had it all around server
i dare say NO real money was used, you can buy ALL these services with in game gold, he did state he had 35 million or so, not so hard to buy tokens, change to bnet balance and buy services with that, 35 million goes a looong way towards a bnet balance...
How much money did he spend on transfers compared to just buying the tokens back when it was only 5mil?
Inspiring, or ridiculous? Personally I find it ridiculous. All that gold and effort to essentially become a convenience for others.
This story is really stupid, but it's good to know that there's no point in trying to get that dinosaur mount unless you have 10M gold to put in for the gold cap, plus 3M gold to pay bots to track the BMAH on every server, plus 1-2M gold's worth of bnet balance to server hop around looking for itI'm sure they'll add another mount just as soon as they need to juice up their revenue numbers for the next quarterly report, so don't worry..As for the complaints about 24/7 AH campers: IMO Blizzard should just make auctions first-posted, first-sale. They could deal with undercutting by putting everyone who undercuts by less than 5% into the same queue. Then you'd have to actually undercut by a substantial amount to jump the line, so there'd finally be some downward pressure on prices for once.
