Kind of disappointed, but I'm also don't believe we should treat every interview comment as an ironclad promise. I think it's utterly ridiculous to call this a lie, because that would mean Blizzard had no intention of releasing the Goblin/Worgen heritage armor at the the interview was given, and I see no reason to level that particular accusation.I could very well see Blizzard look at the middling reception the existing heritage armor questlines received, and decide to go back to the drawing board for the Worgen and Goblin. This may of resulted in them pushing it to a later patch due to time constraints, or because the new story doesn't make sense until after at least the initial events of 8.3 have transpired. Both the Goblins and Worgen could have different racial leaders in the short term depending on how things shake out, which could impact their heritage armor chains.
What a huge disappointment!
Blizzard has known for months that the community was anticipating Worgen Heritage Armor to launch with the model updates. They knew this; the CM people had to have mentioned it. If Blizzard never had intention of doing that they had a choice: announce that the armor would NOT be at the same time...or ignore it and hope people would forget the original comment. We know which option they chose. Instead of an official explanation which would have diffused the salt fire, a one line Blue post ignited the fumes. This is Blizzard practicing open communication.
I'm not angry, I'm just disappointed. ....And angry
I just wish Blizzard Devs would be more careful about how they word things and not announce things they don't have concrete proof they can actually get out. This has been a problem for them since Vanilla with Box Art of things they never put in to Vanilla. Same for WotLK with the Dance Studio that people, myself included, are still pissed that they cut.
It was more than just thinking it, didn't they actually say we'd get the heritage armour with the model update? Whatever, this either means A) They will put more time and effort into them or B) 8.2.5 is sooner than we thought
I'm just upset we're probably going to be waiting until 9.0 until Troll Heritage Armour now, thanks Blizzard!
Not a big deal.
:*(
i dont mind waiting, but the way they say it as if they aren't contradicting what they said before irritates me. an "we're sorry for the delay but the heritate armor needs some more work" would go a long way.
Hopefully we will at least be able to see the armor concepts soon so we will know what we are waiting for I guess
I can't believe this thing that players hyped but Blizzard never confirmed didn't end up being real, man I am so mad at Blizz >:(
