Nice. Great input from Loozy.
They really look among the very strongest sets so far.
If we can track the destro proc, will be great since a guaranteed infernal for 8 seconds is awesome. Without the ability to track it though... I mean I would probably go through a lot of raid bosses without casting a single rain.
Everyone talking about sets being good bad. THERE'S A GLARING ISSUE THAT ALMOST EVERY SPEC'S TEIR SET DOESNT CHANGE HOW YOU PLAY. This company is in this #$%^ter and the only way to fix it is to quit or scream endlessly that they're not good enough. Look back at legion when we had tier. Almost every set for almost every spec changed how you played. Regardless if they were good or bad or so-so, they CHANGED HOW YOU PLAYED.
What's with the wankery about these sets being so good? Have you guys even seen what Fire Mages and Balance Druids get? These are adequate but that's it.
For destro it feels kinda stupid if it forces people to use AOE on a single target fights. Would you really waste 3 shards and GCD for a rather small chance for free Chaos Bolt and a short infernal drop? It's a bit weird they picked those 2 spells that dont synergize with each other in this codepenency tandem.
(Excluding mages, cuz they whine all the time anyway - 13% set bonus to fire? /cry why not 50%? - meanwhile everyone else is getting ~4-8% overall.)Lmao because burning for 2% of your health every second during Combustion isn't a valid concern when it's the only set with a negative like this.
Chaos bolt spam is already my favorite part of playing destro-warlock so I'm looking forward for more excuses to pulverise mobs.
I am extremely happy with these set bonuses. i agree and think Affliction might still need a little leg-up in single target. atleast enough to somewhat keep up with the other class's power increase . regardless, its gonna be a blast to play warlock in 9.2 !
Rofl. I only like the Demo one. Rest is RNG fiesta. I'll stick to WW and annihilate everything. Punny Dest Locks can pray to RNG gods. Meanwhile I'll be slaying.
Well "100%chance" sounds so much cooler than "summons an extra one"
With all the demonic cores this patch would be the perfect time to finally change Nether Portal to summon a demon per shard spent instead of whenever, so it wouldn't be so clunky to try and actually use it. Instead, they made sure that Demonic Consumption rushes even further ahead with all the extra demons per ability.I just wanna have the spec fantasy of summoning in an actual army of proper demons instead of one very strong guy and a few imps :(
