China $100-150 million o.OThat would be really great.
Sequals are the future. Long live Warcraft!
Go China ......... save us from those "muricans" and their $%^&ty taste with movies , we need MOAR movies for our beloved game Am sorry for the few others that lives in the domestic "US" supporting the movie , you are totally not forgotten just like you perc , panser and the rest of wow fans
1 am the stream is, damn it! work in the morning
Will this stream be uploaded somewhere afterwards? I'm really interested in watching it, but I live in the UK, and have things to get up for.And oh yes, go China! We need this film to be successful, and I've read that it needs to make $150 million to be successful (I know nothing about money in the film industry, 1 million sounds like A LOT to me). So the fact that it's estimated to make almost that in it's launch is amazing! Not even mentioning the fact that there is still America to go as well. I didn't doubt it, but the likelihood of further sequels and the much-needed Extended Edition looks almost a guarantee at this point.
I cant even comprehend these mofos will actually bury this movie. Not to mention the unstoppable propaganda agaisnt the movie from ''specific critics''. Muricans at its worse.I hope the real US warcraft fans will close their eyes and ears and come and watch the movie.Which has reiceved exceptional ratings in Europe
"save us from those "muricans" and their $%^&ty taste with movies" You do realize the movie isnt even out in the US right? No amount of negative reviews will stop warcraft fans from seeing this movie.
It needs to make ~$400 million to warrant a sequel. It cost $160 million to make, and a whole lot more to market. Not to mention the fact that they only get a portion of ticket sales, and only a portion of that from international sales.
"Fans" will...even the "jilted ex lovers who now "HATE what Wow has become" will probably see it ...at least some will.I do not think Wow , the movie will/is having a money issue.
Whaddayamean "Global Premiere" ?Hasn't the movie been out in some markets well over a week now ?
Yep, "Global Premiere" is for all those who think there's only the US on the globe. ;)It's been out since late May, and the reviews on Rotten Tomato are a bit uneven - maybe that's why we don't hear anything about the reaction in those dozen plus countries all over the world.https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/warcraft/
Well, just from the clips I saw the actors are very stiff and not very good. it has a 17% fresh ratting on Rotten tomatoes, so I will not pay to see it in the theater. Blizzard makes incredible intros to their games, what I want to see is a Warcraft movie using that tech and not live action with crappy but good looking actors.
This made me laugh, "Who Googles that question?" :|
I do hope the movie does well but I honestly think they missed an opportunity to make an amazing tv series. Can you just imagine how deep into the lore they could go by having an ongoing series to tell the story.
