Oh please Blizzard, please, for the love of everything that is good on this earth, do NOT include these negative torments in Torghast. The best part of Torghast over Visions was not having these random rotating stupid affixes. Torghast has been one of my favorite activities in Shadowlands, and all I've wanted is more reasons to do Twisting Corridors-- AS IT IS NOW. Purely for the fun of it. Torghast scoring was exciting in the same vein.I have no interest in pursuing Torghast beyond the absolute bare minimum if these Torments are included, and 0 interest in scoring. I actively WANT to enjoy Torghast, but these Torments are a massive turn-off.

so many things to do just makes it very overwhelming i give up it's like a damn job now either do it and get burnt out or don't do it and fall behind, then you have FOMO

Honestly the Time and Score Streak variables seem like the same thing. They should remove at least 1 of them. I already don't like this becoming a timed thing. Needing only 4 out of 5 stars to advance meant perhaps this wasn't turning into a race. But Hot Streak and Time both result in the exact same "Gotta go fast" behavior.
Since they said it is going to be rewarded, but no gear. What rewards could that be? Conduits? Lul

They absolutely didn't get the reason of player frustration for Torghast. Torghast was fun at the beginning while we had to farm soul ash to get our class / spec's bis legendary. Once we were done with it, Torghast start losing its importance as almost all specs have one dominant legendary and tons of garbage that no one will ever use. But instead of updating the reward system of the tower, now they are forcing us to clear it instead of rush to the gate and kill the dude and be done with it strategy that we've been using for a while. As players, we never wanted a gear reward but transoms -such as island expeditions-. I mean when I look at to maw and jailer's army, I see TONS OF creative tmog ideas which are already modelled, ready to use. Now, what's going to happen is; 9.1 will get released, we all will rush Torghast and collect Soul Cinders to max our bis legendary (maybe 2) and that will be all. We will never ever go back Torghast and do the same thing again to collect more currency that we won't spend. Like ever.So dear Blizzard, either play around with legendaries, balance them our, don't imprison us into one specific legendary or reward us with something -anything- from each Torghast run. Gold, pet, tmog, mats, anything.
Speed running Torghast?No. F'ing. Thank. You. I'll come back in 2 - 3 expansions if any rewards are still there when ilvl inflation makes everything instantly die.
What they need to do first is revamp 90% of all class and spec based anima powers. Your ether a have or a have not in torghast. Monks have, Demon Hunters have, Hunters have not, Warriors have not. Giving each class one or two truly good anima powers causes a sense of disappointment every time you pick one up and realize it isn't overly useful or applicable.The main thing about any successful rogue like game is having the power system that constantly intrigues and excites you with the possibilities. Stacking one good power 3 times isn't interesting. Having 4 powerful traits that in little to no way work in synergy is not fun. It is true in rogue likes you don't always win or get a good set of powers but the fact is in a rogue like you are there for the rogue like not to get some kind of reward to go play an RPG mode in the same game.Torghast needs to be 100% optional to completely isolate it from the rest of the game. Stop worrying about weather players actually do said content or not and worry about "Is the content going to be any fun for the people who are interested"Continue to make things like Anima, World Quests, and sanctum upgrades optional. It give people something to do if there in to that stuff without forcing the people who are not in to a portion of the game that dose not interest them.

For a vDH its a good thing because they can pull the entire floor and oneshot the mobs. While ask the same from a disc priest. Or Hunters have really bad aoe animas. Even the best anima powers are medicore compared to some specs. Also 0 self heal so we just die on big pulls. They need to fix this if they want speed runs or big pulls.

Why would you double down on a game system that is universally hated. Repetitive, forced for ash, boring, no loot, no fun, pointless.
