they need to add more rewards to it, I only do TW on the first coming week of every new season for the normal raid loot and that's it.
I leveled up a rogue in wrath timewalking the first time it came up, during wod, from 81-100, because I was on a PvP server. Most of the ones I got were Pit of Saron, because so many people abandoned it. At the time you spawned at a graveyard far from the instance. Half of players couldn't find their way back after dying and left, even though we tried to talk them through it. The big mobs had more health than bosses in the other dungeons, even though our gear was tuned for those earlier dungeons. I still have flashbacks when I see that loading screen.
Don't you dare removing my favorite Dungeon Pit of Saron, put it back NOW!Also add The Forge of Souls. Love these Dungeons.
I'll take FoS over PoS (Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron) any day of the week. At least because of the music. However in both dungeons there are some nasty trash packs.
I dont see why people are happy with the same amount when they should've increased the pool. Pit of Saron gauntlet cant be pulled all together and bursted down and that alot of tanks nowadays have it as a second nature. I have tanked that gauntlet on all tanks and I didnt have any problems with groups that used Interrupts and stuns. Who would've guessed that using CC would make a dungeon easier! The same goes with AK. All you have to do is to interrupt that nerubian caster from casting his 4 or 5 seconds long cast. I never had problems with this one either. Most players dont even use their CC which to me is a mistery because is super fun for me to CC mobs and coordinate and do interrupt rotations, stun, fear, incapacitate, do skips. I find these things lacking in the vast majority of players. Without the CC I feel like my brain is dropping through my ear to find scissors to cut the cord and leave my skull.
I enjoy Grim Batol, but it was completely broken almost every Cata time walking event I can remember. Mostly looks like they removed poorly tuned/broken ones instead of just fixing them. Comes off pretty lazy.
Why remove dungeons if you can just add more so there's more variety?
The should remove The Occulus. I just bail if I get that one. Rather go find something else to do for 30 min deserter debuff than try complete that dungeon.
Iron Docks was (or hell, still is) great, especially with the music on!
Wasnt it in Grim Batol where the dragons frequently bugged out? I seem to recall reading that. So are they just removing bugged instances from the list rather than fixing them?
And so they continue to make 9.1.5 the patch that removes more than it adds.
Depending on tuning, Grimrail Depot could be a real mess. Let's see how it works out.
What should happen with timewalking:1) Remove timewalking from the weekly "bonus" completely. Have it be a thing that's always on and rotates to a different expansion each week.2) Also rotate the dungeons picked for each expansion. Part of the reason some of these dungeons are so hated is because we've seen them so much whenever timewalking for that expansion comes around. (I don't consider "players have to actually do mechanics" a valid reason to remove a dungeon from the pool.)3) If Legion Timewalking M+ proves to be successful, consider expanding it to other expansions over time.
I don't see why you would ever need to remove dungeons that are already in the pool.If you do the weekly quest on several chars you will do the same dungeons over and over again, having a greater pool to choose from really helps making it less stale.
Nice, not because I disliked any of these but for the rotation itself.Although I have to say that changing Siege of Niuzao Temple for Scholomance is something I do not agree with.Scholomance is not exactly a MoP dungeon, revamped or not.
