Not enough compairing how easy pvpers can aquire gear equal to mythic raids. There's should be 226 for 15 key achievement and weapon upgrade to 233 for 20 keys.

I think the addition of valor points is great, but when Blizz told us we wont be able to upgrade gear we already obtained it ruined it for me. We are nearly 3 months into a content patch (and grinding for gear) only for the gear we have painstakingly grinded for already to be inferior to the 'upgradable' variants.I am absolutely fine with this if it was at the start of a major patch because we have to get new gear anyway, but for that re-grind to be mid-patch is extremely depressing to me. After all in a month or so after March we will get a major patch...and that gear to be replaced...it's way too short of a timeframe imo.
It is a nice addition but the whole system as mentioned in the article is flawed. 1. can't upgrade current gear, sets back the m+ers to begin with needing to re-farm the items they have. 2. if the vault gives 226 for a 15 why not make KSM allow upgrades to 226 there's obviously a cap to valor and let that dictate how much you can upgrade in a week. 3. make another achievement for doing all the dungeons at +18-20 to allow 233 weapons that way the people who a. don't like pvp or b. don't have the time or ability to commit to mythic raiding the chance to get gear for possibly one of the most important gear slots. 4. don't allow gear previously obtained then sold/disenchanted the ability to upgrade.
No, it's not enough. Being forced to re acquire all gear to be able to upgrade it is a big issue, upgrade capping at 220 is bad too, and they doesn't address amount of loot (which is too low, considering it's base ilvl is also garbage) from M+ at all...And we don't even have all the details about it... How much VP cap is? What's upgrade prices?
And once again those of us who don't run mythics are left out in the cold. Apparently Blizz doesn't think we need upgrades too to try progression to end game. So nice to know that my main is completely stuck at ilvl 200 with ZERO chance of upgrading because raids and mythic will say "you can't run with us because your level is too low." Not to mention that LFR is all my main gets to run and even from the vault the gear isn't an upgrade by the time she could run all 4 wings. So no need to run those 4 at all.

No, by the time the system is in place - most mains will be beyond the point where it is required. It is however a good thing for alts if you do a lot of keys on them (which I doubt most people do)Also, the fact that pre-905 gear still isn't eligible is massive amounts of stupid - and I hope they fix it like they did with corruption gear
If PVP loot would be structured the same as PVE loot, you’d only be able to get 233 weapons in RBG and normal loot would be capped to 220 for arenas. Because clearly the effort and time/manpower investment and coordination of RBGs is higher. /s
Well, if they don't increase drop rate the system might be useless (you usually want to upgrade the item you don't have). For example, despite doing mm+ every week since the start (as a casual, 4 to 10 each weak) and trying to target specific dungeons where I can get a weapon, I just got one 187 weapon from the first week. It feels terrible to finally get an upgrade from a stupid WQ despite doing +11... If if check the stats, I've done 49 MM+ that could give me a weapon and just got one.Because old items we won't be able to upgrade pre 9.05 items, I'm still gonna be stuck with RNG and the ridiculous drop rate of weapons in this extension. My iLvl is still going up, but it would do more damage with lower iLvl but a decent weapon.I know, it's just RNG but if the system is supposed to fix this it doesn't seem like a good solution... And I agree : a last cap at max iLvl for doing all +20 should exist too.PS : sry not native english speaker...
Whatever they do it's too late.This expansion vision is doomed.Making loot take more time to get but buffing pvp gear acquistion to be better than all other expansions.Aoe capping most classes but forgeting fire mages.Covenants choice that got proved wrong with people just picking it for power reasons.I'm sure the pvp players will enjoy it, maybe it's a test to see if pvp can keep an expansion alive.
Mythic+ doesn't really have a place to fit neatly in the game outside of the diablo-ified loot system we saw in Legion and BfA.Sadly it's too late to put the genie back in the bottle and we're stuck with it. I personally hope they don't add more cosmetic rewards to it, there's too much time-sensitive stuff in the game as is.
This will be terrific. We are ONLY 2 months in to this expansion, and there are those players out there who think they should just HAVE IT ALL!We have the better part of 2 years left in this expansion...can we please put everything into perspective?
