Lol at Great Vault feeling like Christmas . . . I don't remember being disappointed at Christmas.
Oh very very good news for me such as with Cypher . I thought it would be like korthia but it seems they have learned their lessons and did some thing that players like me want. I like that. And Tier sets and gearing with new currency seems very cool. I like that too. I hope they don't change their mind like what they did with skip 9.0.2 covenant story .
Man we joked about live being the actual PTR, so they certainly heard us and listened by not putting bosses on the PTR. Bold move that I sincerely doubt will go well.
nice
There should be two ranks for conduits unless a single rank is unlocked across all levels of the raid. This would not make any sense seeing as they have matched the conduit rank system to item level brackets used to split up difficulties. If they are choosing to only have one more rank the conduits should be titled as ranks not item levels that match up with there gear from said content.
The Cypher system sounds good. I'm hoping it can be a foundation for out-of-instance zone progression going into future expansions: a completely optional grind with no power effects outside of the zone, but that lets outdoor-focused players become 'masters' of a zone and artificially make them stronger and faster without needing to get high ilevel gear. Should make everyone happy.Gauntlet worries me as a collector. Hope the gear we can get outside of raids and stuff will be enough for at least a chance to obtain everything.
There's a lot of good things in this interview. They seemed to learn for once. We'll see, but I'm optimistic. Especially glad to see there won't be real timegating or weekly cap for the ourdoor content. The zone is huge and so is the raid. Very hyped! 😁
Nice interview and answers. I feel like Morgan always has more good news to share than Ion (not that I don't like Ion). Good to see that Cypher will not be required in the same way as Venari and Codex reps, that Torghast won't be abandoned and that we might see master looter back next expansion.
Crazy, I though this interview had some very promising answers, and the overall information I took away from it definitely makes me excited for 9.2 since they are acknowledging many flaws of their previous systems, yet, people STILL find a way to nitpick something and complain about it. At this point I don't know what they could do to even make everyone happy, people willingly want to get upset at anything.
would be something to be addressed between expansions, not a patch.Take the "can't trade if it's an item level upgrade" part out and one problem is solved. That can be done now.whilst I agree with you as a raider, that is just master looter with extra steps. if they remove the ilvl requirement they should just give us master looter back.
From what he was talking about towards the end it seems we might get a similar system to FF where all older content is scaled and runable maybe for some few rewards. Could be dope.
Looking forward to the new raid in 9.2, especially because they're saying that the 8th boss's difficulty, Anduin, will be on par with end-raid bosses. I'm therefor hoping that it means that the final 3 bosses will actually all be on par with end-raid bosses, and not the just end-raid boss Anduin > 2 casual filler bosses > end-raid boss Jailer.Kinda sounds like (at least I hope so) like the final raid boss structure of Ulduar (with Yogg being the final boss, and Algalon being a bonus extra hard final boss for the real hardcore players.) But then instead in this situation we'll have: Yogg > Algalon > Algalon+ > Algalon++ At least that's what I'm hoping for :-)
> They want a raid without bugs> So they are thinking about not testing apparently several bosses at allI'm not really big on raiding, but from what I usually hear about every new raid progression, aren't the bosses that are not tested usually the most bugged ones?
