These were a lot tougher. I went with for Aran, and for Netherspite. They each took a good few attempts.I played one game against the third boss and decided to call it a day. That one is going to take some work!
Well, you were complaining that Heroic was too easy... :)
I won these heroics besides Netherspite in about 2 tries.Aran I used a mage variant that ran lots of secret negation and spells. More or less the same, except an eater of secrets to eat his secrets forcing him to waste a turn killing it.Free Medivh I just ran midrange shaman with some lategame stuff, reincarnate, ancestral spirit, and Kel'thuzad. Just control the board til you can ancestral spirit KT, kill the orc, and have KT just bring back your whole board. And once you get 3-4 KTs on the board, Malcazar can't ever deal with that.
I watched Trump's attempt with the Exodia deck above. The idea was to use the first battle to set up the infinite fireball combo with Antonidas, Sorcerer's Apprentice and Echo of Medivh. He kept himself alive with Hogger, Ice Block and Illuminator. It took him to fatigue but then he just made sure he had a Counterspell up before he went into the second phase to stop the Twisting Nether and finished by spamming 0 mana fireballs for the win. You do have to be really careful not to spam too fast, though, or the game disconnects!I haven't seen Kibler's video (assuming there is one) but, by the look of it, Kibler's deck does the same thing but with more taunts and Kel'Thuzad to draw the first fight out.
Netherspite doesn't have minions. It's safe to play Deathlord and joust minions.
I used anyfin can happen to defeat the final heroic boss - set up the combo, save your anyfins, then transition the boss to beat malchezar. Took me to fatigue (bluegill warrior was the last card in the deck), but I managed it.
I tried a Shaman Kel'Thuzad deck for the Free Medivh! fight and it worked a treat :)
Malchezaar was a tough nut.I tried it with Trumps Exo deck, but it didnt quite work for me.So I did some changes that helped in my opinion:- 2 Snow chugger- 1 Doomsayer+ 2 Ooze+ 1 Harrison JonesIt helps for a simple reason: When Malchezaar plays a weapon turn one and a upgrade turn two or something like that, your doomsayers, chuggers and removals etc do nothing.
Fastest kills in Duowan: and many other cheap spells can pwn Aran within 4 turns.Netherspite is done by a rogue carrying only 4 cards with cost over 1, and two .The only method to kill Malchezar in 6 turns is to use on the 30/30 Ancient One to survive the nether, then windfury him. Use for speeding up the process.
