There's gonna be tons of counterplay with Volcanic, I think. Priests can cast Levitate, Mages can cast Slow Fall, Warriors can Charge/Heroic Leap, Rogues can use Shadowstep, Hunters can Disengage. Lots of ways to mitigate fall damage, this could be fun.

dont forget that volcanic happening only in range. So if all of the mobs at the same place, the easiest counterplay is to go to melee.
