king with identity crisis, nice lore, Christie!
When I have doubts about myself, I always go to my worst abuser, enemy and tormentor for the last decade or so. Really helps clear my mind when one of the worst, most heartless manipulators in the world tells me I'm good.I hate this so much.HIm confiding in Sylvanas is freaking insulting. He has life-long mentors, actual friends and allies with whom he's grown up, people who love him, that he for some damned reason chooses he doesn't wanna talk to but he's also gonna hurt them even more by not coming back just because he feels a bit guilty. He's so immature, so selfish and selfabsorbed. Why doesn't he talk to Uther? Greymane? Prophet Velen? Surely the latter would have quite a lot to tell him about feeling guilty or inadequate. But no, no for some freaking reason we have the victim BONDING with their abuser. It's sickening.Maybe Tyralyon will actually be a much better leader than this whimpering, miserable loser.
This is a nice touch on Anduin's mental growth. He is a human, and humans will have emotions, good and bad, even as a king.
