They say the human eye can't see above 30fps, good that I have two eyes so the 48fps is of benefit to me. *pokerface*
troll = best part đź‘Ť
The Upscale Youtube page made this cinematic about a year ago.
I really don't see the point of doing this if it's still going to be absolutely caked in artifacts. And the fps change is ghastly
Eh I have a 2k monitor and a 4k tv and this is looking blurry in both of them xD
Lol Even the picture my dad took with his dollar store calculator has more resolution than this video. Really, it looks like it was scaled down to 240p.If you want to see Wow and Blizzard cinematics in 4k or 8k go to Upscale channel.https://youtu.be/dsOlr3aFVYA https://www.youtube.com/c/UpscaleHD/videos
Just Terrible!
I don't care what technology you have, you can NOT add data that isn't there, to begin with. This is why I see TV shows that say, "enlarge and enhance image" and want to throw something at the set. Stop trying to 4K something was never intended to be that in the first place. The only true way to upscale it would be to re-record the entire cinematic into the proper resolution, to begin with.
Interesting but the animations feel very off. Almost sped up. Lacks the gravity of the original.
A lot of warping and stretching... don't really like it, flows too 'fast'.
This looks like shyt on 65" 4k OLED TV! Way too blurry. On the other hand on a 17" 1080p laptop screen looks good
I have not watched this cinematic in 12 years and I still remembered the words and to my amazement I even got the tempo right unconsciously. This looks great.
actually looks aint good. If you mix nearest pixels to same color with "pro technology" it doesn't become looks better. This blur makes eyes to bleed actually. It closer to 800*600 that was extrapolated to wide monitor. Sadly if blizzard lost their original files to create a better version but all this "upscale" looks BAD. Linear step gradients on 4k looks completely strange for modern time.
Pretty funny how derpy some of the faces look when you pause xD.Some things were just never meant to be seen like this I guess.
Never realised how dated those cinematic looks, until now ...
Upscaling is still terrible - it does not increase the quality and resolution truly at all.
Nice, looks great!
