Please, PLEASE not another horde vs alliance war
Greymane used to be my favorite but he actually needs to shut up at this point, don't bring him back next xpac.
Why is the old doggy man so mean to the Horde? Its not like they've committed genocide, after genocide, or burnt down a city or two. Or three. Or four...
Burning Camp Taurajo?
I'm just so tired of this being presented like Horde were the only aggressors ever and the Alliance were nothing but innocent bystanders. Did Sylvanas commit atrocities? Absolutely. Do I think her character was also thrown under the bus and turned into Arthas 2.0 for the sake of cheap plot devices? Absolutely. Never mind what she suffered, or the Blood Elves, or innocent Horde civilians -- it's all about Genn and the humans (who of course have never done anything that wasn't all about defending themselves from those meanie monsters). f Horde leaders do a Bad Thing, it's because they're just baddies. If Alliance leaders do a Bad Thing, it's "the devil made me do it, and the Horde are still somehow to blame."NO ONE'S HANDS ARE CLEAN HERE, and I really hope going forward the writers stop using Horde as an excuse for every ill in the world just to tidy up their loose threads.
one thing though , those stormwind guard quotes where there in BFA already if I recall
"whys he so mad sylvanas only did some war crimes and she said sorry lolz he should get over it" - People in this threadAs if having next to no justice for having your son murdered and your people displaced twice is just a slight concession. The Horde has constantly just walked all over the Alliance and the Alliance just takes it, don't be surprised that Genn isn't very happy about that.
But in fact, the horde has been used as even this for many decades now. Hell, even the actual leaders or Thrall are to blame for things in their past. Not that Alliance-Leaders are clean of it, but the outcome of all these things seems to be less blameable then the most choices done by horde protagonists. And the most recent atrocity of a war was Teldrassil. Undercity? Sylvanas doomed her own capital as trap, so it doesn't even slightly count as "win" for the Alliance. I can no more than say: Genn is right. Too often, horde leaders could get away with blaming others for the doing of "atrocities" despite standing trial on their own. Not even the loss of Rastakhan (shame, I liked the old' grumpy) is considered a crime, because the alliance has sieged the city and was provoked by the shemes, the horde did in Kul Tiras + Troops that sended the horde in their lands. They gave shelter to the horde and that was the price for supporting the hordes war efforts. No one less is to blame then Rastakhan, who couldn't give up as he had the chance for it. Not the Alliance, not Bwonsamdi, no one despite Rastakhan - If he would be a good leader, he could've spared more lives and just give up to the alliance as they were approaching his throne room.I only can hope the horde comes to pay for their atrocities against the alliance and that the alliance will show them how it is to "ruin" others lives as the horde was allowed to do in the past 20 years. For the one who was telling about Onyxia btw. that was a "alliance-only"-sheme Onyxia did. We had to fight the defias, we had to save our king from being lost to her dark magic etc. so, in no point not even slightly, was there any damage caused to the horde by the hands of Onyxias reign over Stormwind.
>Turalyon takes over and Anduin steps aside as the Leader of the AllianceSo we're getting a Green Jesus 2.0Blonde Jesus.
Despite the embittered pooch, Lor'themar keeps the diplomacy and the calm. He is really a GREAT leader.
Always love how much hypocrisy genn oozes constantly.
Lor'themar should have just started listing off names, and keep listing names as Genn asks what he is talking about. Then tell him those are the names of Sin'dorei 'murdered' by Alliance assassins. They weren't soldiers or weapon makers, just ordinary people trying to live their lives. And those deaths rallied the people, enraged them, for who could possibly think rationally when you find a mother howling in anguish covered in blood. Her children slain in their very beds, and only now at the end of things does the truth come out. Agents of Sylvanas killed them because they dared to speak out publically about her, not even rabble rousing. Just idle gossip about wanting another way. So yes, perhaps he should have done something, and this conversation would never have happened. For he and countless other members of the Horde and Alliance would be dead. Nothing rallies the people like their leaders being cut down by the enemy.
Let us skin that damn mutt already!
Greymane is really getting boring with that hate, they need to give this character something more than shouting "Sylvanas" into the sky.But at the same time I think Blizzard &*!@ed up not giving Greymane a convo with his son.
Genn is so cringe
