Dunno why @target reticle spells are outlawed. I guess it gives an unfair advantage to players who actually know how to make macros and play the game it's meant to be played.
I hope they will allow us to use in the future with reticule spells. The whole hunter trap pvp thing is so silly to me. If you throw a trap where a player is currently standing you will miss as they are most likely moving, and even if they stand still I can precisely land a trap extremely fast myself.Currently the priest necrolord covenant ability Unholy Nova get fired like a reticule spell with an modifier. You select the target and press the spell and the projectile launches at the current location of the target, if the target moves, its still going for the location it was going for when the ability was pressed. Which means that it will miss since the target moved. The same thing would happen with hunter traps, and it is also what balances this macro conditional. If you aim the reticule manually you can aim it ahead of a moving target and make sure to hit them, with there is a big chance that you would miss a moving target.
Not surprised it was fixed. Just wish they would implement AOE placement how it works in Swtor. Double press the hot key and it automatically places the AOE on your current target. done.
Congratulations, wowhead! You got another bug fixed by writing numerous articles about it.
They need to revert it and just remove it from PvP
I'm sorry.. What? I'm so confused, do the devs know what they are doing? It feels like a bunch of chicken without heads?Things just keep getting worse, when are they getting better?Blizzard dev and balance teams:Patch x.x.x.0:Nerfed Aimed Shot with 5%.Patch x.x.x.5:Buffed Aimed Shot with 5%...Expansion x:Added @target, for variety of placing spells.Expansion y:Removed @target, for variety of placing spells...Anyone who say this was a bug, it wasn't. They implemented this on purpose, for death knights death and decay spell through glyphs. Then later when majority of glyphs was reworked, they opened the macro's API to have this function instead. On both Death and decay and several other spells.
I wouldn't mind if it casted near the target instead but anyway
