This is amazing. The lore is really swirling around the bowl now XD
I knew it was coming, but lord it's still disappointing to see.Crimes that (rightly) get Garrosh and Arthas castigated at all forgiven in Sylvanas, who-as far as the story is concerned- can seemingly do no wrong, to the point of inventing never-before hinted at internal conflict and demonic possession to justify every single awful thing she's done throughout the past few expansions, no matter how genocidal or "kick the dog" they might have been.If Blizzard had even a shred of integrity or testicular fortitude left, they'd have had Sylvanas go down swinging, like Garrosh did: as much as you despised his actions, at least he stood by them and never pretended to be anything other than what he was. This garbage retconning of her personality to retroactively make the most boring big bad in Warcraft history even more cliched and evil is just borderline sad now.
I do love how there are people here who believes Wowheads theories at face value. I don't like the recent directions the story is going as much as the next person but getting angry over dialogue that we don't have the full context of it beyond stupid. Even more so when the dialogue strongly hints towards Arthas as the subject and not Zovaal. Given that the dialogue mentions that Sylvanas cannot remember the exact moment when she wrested control but she does remember the rush of freedom from doing so. It wouldn't make much sense if she was referring to Zovaal because1. There is nothing in the story so far that hints that Sylvanas was being mind controlled by Zovaal2. It wouldn't make much sense anyway given that Zovaal ordering Sylvanas to force Anduin to take up Kingsmourne was a test of her loyalty.3. She betrayed the Jailer fairly recently. It is just whoever wrote this article still wants to stir up controversy for clicks and what not. Which is why they are trying to defend their "theory".
lmao this is lame
Lmao trying to tie this crap too WC3 is hilariously bad trying to salvage a character that only complete sociopath would like at this point.
Yeah I'm not getting the Wowhead interpretation at all. It seems like Sylvanas remembers the whole breaking free of the Lich King and wanting to kill him and willing to do anything to do that. Then something about forgiveness is brought up - I'll go out on a limb and suggest Bluther might bring it up. He's going down that path. And stuff about Anduin which... you know ... in context might actually come before Sylvanas' reminiscing about escaping the Lich King.I'll even go out on a crazy limb and suggest that Sylvanas dies during the fight saving Anduin and Bluther is the one trying to lead her down a path toward ... Blutherness. I don't know, he's blaming himself for Arthas and he should've shown compassion or something. Whatever. She'll be Blutherfied.Bluther.
That's not Bolvar in the final clip, it's Uther.
*Big, angry blue guy who uses Domination magic: Magic that mind controls people**surprise face of some of the community when Sylvanas was being mind controlled."Whether or not she is innocent is debatable.
Sylvanas for Warchief 2022
Ah yes ... Anduin. The only one who was ever under the control of the Jailers domination magic. The only one that can give us a clue on how to fight it. /sarcasm off Jainas simp level is on par with some Sylvanas Fans.
Sylvanas' redemption is the most stupid thing that they can come up with but guess what of course they'll do it like this.Removed
Sooooo,.... what blizz is saying is she was mindcontrolled? What kind of garbage writing is this?
They failed to mention that Uther was part of that conversation. Also, I’m with Jaina on this. Sylvanas CAN NEVER be trusted. She has to be punished for her MANY war crimes. Tyrande and Greymane would also want to see Sylvanas face brutal justice.
