If you look at it from a geological timescale then the sword's barely been there for any significant time.
It's hard not to keep an eye on it since you could see it from a long distance away in Kalimdor
The next expansion - World of Warcraft: Azeroth. She is born, she is pissed, she is armed...Armed with what? Sargeras' Sword.
I feel like the sword will be Azeroth's weapon whenever she finally emerges and fights whatever ultimate evil they have planned for the end of wow.
We got an entire expansion out of the sword being there and it's a landmark now. I'm fine with them doing more with it if they want to, but I feel pretty satisfied with its current state. If we had to do anything more with it, I think it would be cool if the Cenarion Circle rebuilt around it and grew another World Tree out of it or something, changing the landscape of Silithus.
Am I crazy or does his answer about the sword seem... like it's slightly referencing to C'thun. It almost feels redundant the way he worded it. "Keep an eye on / watch(er) for" --- Just saying, or maybe I'm being incredibly tinfoil hatish.
the sword, another example where Blizzard go for the "rule of cool" moment while ignoring any and all consequences to that moment at the time. There was clearly no plan for the sword, and Danuser is going to keep delaying dealing with it.it's still hilarious how Blizzard actually thought "okay, we're gonna have this giant sword piece the planet and the only physical effect of that is one zone getting partially damaged." Maybe they should look up what effect an asteroid crashing into a planet can do, let alone something of the size of Sargeras's sword.
How has the sword not destabilised Azeroths orbit yet! The planet should be wobbling all over the place.
