? Ok I Fail to understand this just sound Arena 3v3... So what make this mode speical?
It's a start. Curious to see how this develops further!
Because it's SOLO QUE? Can you actually read or just pretend to?
its only a way to see how is the response on a soloQ arena 3v3 would look like
You fight each member of the opposite team 1v1
This sounds interesting and I'm all for a better solo PVP queue, but wouldn't it take a while to have 6 people play out all possible combinations?
"The idea is that we take 6 players, throw them in a pool, and have them fight in 3v3 arena matches in every possible combination you could form among those 6 players."There's no matchmaking for a comp, you basically just get every possible team composition that the 6 players can make and then the win is based on who won the most rounds.
you queue for it as a solo player
Sounds very interesting, I hope this receives good feedback and they end up refining this 'solo queue' and bring it to rated pvp, specially RBGs
Asmongold says a lot of dumb stuff, but he was right on about PvP solo que:Players say they want solo que, but the real problem is that there isn't a space for PvPers in WoW anymore like there were in expansions like MoP, and PvP generally isn't a supported feature to the degree it once was, so PvPers aren't making friends with other PvPers. Thus, PvPers don't have PvP friends to que with, and players keep requesting solo que.Ultimately, giving them solo que is just a bandaid for a bigger problem with how WoW treats PvP.
Every possible combination? Isn't it 20 fights? Sounds like it will take a long time!Edit: I'm wrong, should be 10
It's about time. About 15 years late, but about time. Sadly, Arena is a real bore now imo. It would be great if we got solo queue RBGs.
Nice, many have been wanting soloq for a long time and its great to see them try to implement it. Having to play out all possible compositions with those 6 players will take a while, so I hope the rating gain is worth the time.
That's 10 different combinations. I can't imagine all 6 players staying around for all 10 rounds.Or perhaps if each team must have exactly 1 healer, that would be 6 combinations.
Well the difference is that you don’t need to gather other players or trying to get into groups. For some classes, it’s hard unless you know some people.
