I think those honor requirements are a bit steep. ESPECIALLY if the honor gains are lower for consecutive wins.32 2v2 wins at a 50% winrate does in no way shape or form compare to 10 mythic keystones or 10 Nathria bossesEven at 3 minutes a match that is over 3 hours of playing. At 5 minutes a match you're talking well into the 5 hours. Without waiting time, as well as assuming 200 honor is for every win and not just the first one.
this would be fine if the honor can be from anything pvp related not just rated

Welp, at least I don't care about getting the PVP ones now.I am not sure who thought that rated BG's needed love. When I want to PVP, I want to jump in and have fun. "Complete 10 Mythic +10's" to get the first chest.Having harder requirements, will not entice people to play more, it will push more people away from it.
People don't seem to realise that you always needed rating for the pvp parts of the great vault. Ok sure before this change it was possible to get a cap without rated pvp, but what were you going to do with the under 200 ilvls options it would unlock for you?
I just wish there was a solo/duo queue for rated battlegrounds so solo players could do it. Trying to find a rated battleground group is really hard, considering most disband after the first loss anyway, assuming you're even invited in the first place.
But this is not new news ? Ive seen these numbers on beta yesterday,
why bust ur butt for loot that is below keystone levels you can just grind mythic pluses that are way higher in ilvl get the stats you want and just grab the trinkets from pvp vendor for the bonus in arena bg etc, they have to make the gear worth grinding all that honor/conq etc to get a awesome reward each week. if they kept pvp gear unique away from pve wouldve solved part of the issue.
Seems like an odd change unless they are planning to implement solo queues soon...Correct me if I'm wrong, but this basically forces you to do Arena in order to get any gear from the weekly chest, no?

Do you still get conquest from the first daily win of random BGs/epic BGs/Brawls? That's how the vast majority of people capped conquest on a weekly basis before - I'm really not sure who this change is supposed to help, unless there's going to be something else implemented to compensate for this. There are plenty of players who spend most of their endgame time just doing random BGs, what is gained from holding them back from any meaningful reward? With the introduction of pvp vendors and removal of scaling etc. but also this, it feels like two steps forward, three steps back.
