They should take the Average Value of the Mythic +'s not the lowest. It's incredibly stupid. Just as previously said, if I want to help my mate, the lowest will determine the second loot, while I did 4 fifteens? Thats just BS tbh
Complete 5 mythics at or around the same level and you can still help your friends. 5 is a BIT much, i do think it should be 1/3/6 for the reward but at least it isn't completely punishing for helping out less geared friends, new players and alts. I just feel like 1/3/6 is more inviting for people to help the community, especially if Tanks are as hard to find as they are in the current climate without if affecting your chest. There's no negative affect to helping your friends/community if the required amounts are a little lower, but i feel like people are just a little less inclined to support the community when their chest is so reflected on such a large number of keystones completed.
I find it incredibly funny how this comment section manages to completely misunderstand a very simple concept and complain about a for once flawless design.
biggest issue i see with the M+ part is time lets say because they are all new a 15 takes 1 hour for easy math that would mean getting all 3 options would be 15 hour. With all they do to make things alt friendly this is something completly opposite even if +0 would work those would prob take 30 min so still 8 hours. Another thing thats prob being miscommunicated imo is that ppl do the 4 15s and then only have time left for 1 more in which they have to choose help friends with a low key or do a high key the low key is good for community but bad that it could make the 2th drop be a low bis item or do the high key which gives the chance of having something usefull increase.
Tbh i was sorta expecting when you select a tier, the game shows you a bunch of options from any dungeon you completed, instead of just the one.
The entitlement of some people in the comments is embarrassing. If you don't play the game a lot, it should take you longer to get BIS gear. The new system will reward players who invest a lot of time into their character with a statistically faster path to BIS.If you invest less time or roll multiple alts, you can do 1-5 M+, kill a few mythic boss and do some PVP for each character and you will end up with a nice combination of choices. Players who roll 8 alts and expect to get geared quickly by running a key each week should not be catered to. That's not "alt friendliness".My biggest concern with the system is the probabilistic model which selects the choices from the loot tables. Does the model de-prioritize items if they were offered before? It definitely should for the case when the player chooses to take the currency over the selected items. If you get offered 3 items which are all BIS for different slots, then the ones not selected should not have a massively lower likelihood to appear as a choice in the next weeks.
Just to get clarification1 Reward per week = 1 reward per Line = 3 Rewards totalor regardless what you done (Raid/PVP/Dungeons)you only get 1 total for the entire week?
You only get one piece of gear, the other objectives are only for more loot choice, not number of objects.
That depends on the level of those keys. If you complete 5 +15 keys, you get to choose from 2 +15 rewards. If you complete 15 +15 keys, you get to choose from 3 +15 rewards.Mandatory addendum: If you complete 15 +15 keys and 89032859032890523 keys of lower level than 15, you still get to choose from 3 +15 rewards.
Everyone is freaking out about the 1/5/15 but don't forget you get gear after each Mythic+ completion, in time or not.If you do five 11+ Mythics in the time limit in the current patch, on average you'll see 17 pieces of gear between the completion bonus and the bonus gear drop from being over level 10. With even distribution that's 3.4 pieces of gear to you at 460 ilvl a week. Even if you somehow fail all five keys and have bad luck on the bonus roll, you're still gonna see 10 pieces of gear and 2 pieces assuming even distribution. Compared to a 10 man heroic raid, if the 15% drop rate is true you're looking at 1.5 pieces of gear a boss. At the 7 boss mark you're at 10.5 pieces of gear dropped and you'll get 1.5 pieces of gear again assuming even distribution. As the number of players goes up, obviously the amount of gear dropped goes up but the odds of you getting one specifically goes down (31.5 pieces dropped at 30 players, 1.05 pieces to you per raid)You're at almost twice as many possible drops from Mythic+ for trading and three times as many pieces of gear to you personally as compared to raids. It's probably fair they're erring on the side of caution here.
