That's cute and all, until you walk out of that building and see the crooked Stormwind city. Kinda redundant
I'm personally not a fan of all of this, I kinda feel these changes were unneeded. I don't see why wouldn't you spend two extra minutes to travel to your class guild, this kinda ruins the whole class identity. I just think that having idk, Priests and Paladins go to the Cathedral and see how their Class is all about Light and faith and stuff, or having Warlocks and Rogues travel to the Cleft of Shadows and see how their Classes are all shady, secretive and stuff.I personally think that the best ending of any starting zone was Ghostlands, which is pretty much meant as a Blood Elf starting zone stage two, where after your victory you're sent to Lor'themar and he sends you to Sylvanas, who says welcome to the Horde. I personally think that this kind of ending would be perfect for Exiles Reach, with each class going to an important NPC to welcome them to the Alliance or Horde. Example for Paladins report to Turalyon in Stormwind Cathedral (Alliance)/report to Lady Liadrin in Blood Knight Pavilion in Farstrider Square in Silvermoon(Horde), or for Druids report to Malfurion Stormrage/Hamuul Runetotem in Moonglade, or for Alliance Priests report to Velen in the Exodar, or Horde Shaman report to Thrall in Orgrimmar etc....
When will the next wave of invites go out, want to join my friends in the alpha.
I was starting to get excited untill I realized that this has nothing to do with Legion Class Halls
I'm not sure how I feel about this. I like the convenience and uniform of all the trainers being in one place, but do we know if all of the old ones are being removed? I always liked how they were scattered about the city in their appropriate locations - priests in the church, mages in their tower, etc.
I doubt this is being done without class based things being added in later as well. We are FAR too early into alpha to start assuming things one way or the other but usually a large change like this hints at other changes. That said im curious what they will do with the freed up real estate. As others have said SW and Org (Especially Org and its huts ((Give us Iron Horde architecture already)) ) are outdated and crummy looking. Its hard to see them as flagship locations after seeing such amazing other locations like Suramar or Boralus(for its detail and interactivity at least). Now that Classic is out there isnt any reason to hold onto past looks constrained by their time of creation, I want to see a fully realized Stormwind and Orgimmar but I doubt it will happen any time soon
