Regeneratin' Racial Trait Changes on the 8.1.5 PTR

Blizzard has clarified the uninterruptible part of the Regeneratin’ Zandalari racial is unintended, with a fix on the 8.1.5 PTR.
The new racial is:
Regeneratin'
(Active)
- Regenerate 25% of your maximum health every 1 sec. Lasts 4 seconds. 1.5 min cooldown.
This caused quite a commotion as it was essentially a heal to full health, every 1.5 minutes, that could not be interrupted. It also looked noticeably stronger than the Kul Tiran racial with a healing component:
Brush It Off
: Increases Versatility by 1%. When you take damage, heal for 2% of that amount over 4 sec.
Soon after the PTR went up, Blizzard posted some changes were on the way:
Blizzard
It’s worth noting:
These values are not final.
The aspect of this where it is not interrupted by damage is unintended.
We’re discussing it.
Thank you.
Yesterday, Blizzard posted a fix to one of the overpowered components of the racial.
Blizzard
On the PTR, Regeneratin’ should now stop channeling upon taking damage.
More changes are on the way
, as Blizzard posted the values were
not
final.

Interrupted on damage hmmm, and Zandalari can become paladins hmmm. Maybe hunters too hmm. So macros mixing the imunities + Regenerating will be very OP instead. I main hordies but that's just too OP for a racial. They should make it a 50% regen or another nerf.
Or rogues who could vanish, or warriors who could leap away from melee to use it, or any class that can stun/cc...
There are so many ways to get a healthy chunk of those 4 seconds... the only one's who won't get much out of this are the ones who lack imagination. Hand me any class, and I can find a way to abuse this (and I may well do so in game, if we get this. Zan'dalar can be any class I like to play).
Never mind in any dungeon or raid content where you aren't the tank - a dps or healer can just use this freely (imagine the mana savings). Raids where you get a few seconds without any raid wide damage and need a massive heal? Hello Regeneratin'!
Got some hard to heal raid mechanic your're guild is pushing? Race change to Zan'dalar!
Honestly, in PVE this won't really affect Alliance any more than before, at this point they aren't even in the running for top PVE anything as a whole. (Though it is all the more impressive when an Alliance group does manage to world first or rank high)
As for PVP though, this will be one of the single most dominant abilities we've seen yet - and WILL affect both factions*.
Forcing an opponent to constantly be on top of a Zandalari so they don't just massively self heal very 1.5 minutes will greatly unbalance how PVP works.
You better believe Horde PVP will become the Zan'dalar army overnight if this makes it to launch as is - race changes will sell well.
*(Arenas and RBGs ignore faction, so yes, both Horde and Alliance)
And yes, to those looking to nit pick, constantly ticking damage will make this less useful - but we are then talking about something highly situational. Not every PVE fight puts dots on everyone. Many classes can remove dots in PVP.
The argument people keep having as to why "Regeneratin" is OP is because it heals them to full health if they aren't taking damage. That argument is stupid because in PvP it's actually fairly difficult to get that time alone.

You won't, in a warrior, if you're the tank. Yeah its
only
4 seconds, but it CAN BE insta-interrupted if you have targets on you (soloing stuff, or tanking) or dots, or getting aoe'd. You'd have first to pop another defensive, move away, hope that mobs don't go to you and use it. It isn't clear too if the healing starts right away of just 1 second after using it.
Paladins and hunters were just 2 of the classes I imagine would be better suited for a Zandalari race there, with that racial, even if they nerf it in the future. Rogues can be imune to magic damage thru the cloak, and vanish first 'imunity' lasts around 3s, then you're put into stealth. In solo open world content, yeah, some open world grouped too but currently, if you take 1 HP damage (be either dot, aoe, or whatever) when you use it, you'll waste it. And rogues already have that elixir they can use to heal themselves up, to almost 50% hp with a talent, and durign a fight in 30s CD.
DPS, probably ranged could make most out of it, most (if not all) melees will be closer to damaging stuff, and as we see in BfA, there are lots of mob that like to change targets, and go on a random person, some with that creepy charge+stun stuff.

Exactly, but as I said, even for PvP, some classes can still have 'the full time' out of it, see paladins with the bubble, and Zandalari can be paladins, the exact class I'm gonna put on mine. I already have 2 druids on my server, both with the best race+profession combo, one with herbalism (Thunderbluff tauren) and other with mining (HM tauren).
Zandalari druid forms are great and all but, I'm already doing the Kul Tiran druida for the other faction already, where I had only a human paladin upgraded to 120.

It has already been shown (unless it's a bug) that "Regeneratin" is unable to be used while you have a shield on you. And if you want to say that "Regeneratin" is OP then "Shadowmeld" and "Fireblood" should be nerffed or taken away as a consolation because both of those heavily affect ranked pvp.
